Ep 311

Manic Margaret Barnes (Annabelle Apsion) is taken to hospital, and a nurse realises that the blood on her clothes is not consistent with her wound. DC Ramani De Costa (Thusitha Jayasundera) confronts her stalker and tries to get Margaret to tell her who she has stabbed.

Meanwhile, DC Terry Perkins (Bruce Byron) lies bleeding to death…

The arrival of Margaret’s estranged husband Chris (Neil Caple) prompts Ramani to realise that Terry is the victim they are looking for. The relief race to Ramani’s house, but is it too late for her faithful friend?

PC Lance Powell (Ofo Uhiara) and PCSO Laura Bryant (Melanie Kilburn) continue helping the mother of a Cole Lane delinquent, who, after a beating from her son, has taken their advice and set up a mobile phone tracer. Is big mother watching you?

Lance and Laura find miscreant son Jordan at a local pool hall, and witness what appears to be a drug deal between Adi Mateen (TJ Ramini) and Superintendent Adam Okaro (Cyril Nri). Will the Super turn to drugs?

Meanwhile, DS Samantha Nixon (Lisa Maxwell) is impressed by DS Phil Hunter’s (Scott Maslen) chivalry while working on a case, and suggests a date. The moment Phil has long been waiting for is about to be dramatically ruined by the arrival of an ex-fling with a life changing announceme...

Ep 312

Superintendent Adam Okaro (Cyril Nri) tries his best to keep it together at the funeral of his wife, son and daughter…
Ex-lover Inspector Gina Gold (Roberta Taylor) offers him a shoulder to cry on, but he wonders how strongly Gina can empathise. She then drops the bombshell that she has cancer. Will this push Adam over the edge?

Meanwhile, PC Lance Powell (Ofo Uhiara) is concerned that Adam hasn’t booked in the drugs package he previously exchanged with Adi Mateen (TJ Ramini). The Super is later offered a spliff by an old mate – where is this heading?

Elsewhere, DS Phil Hunter (Scott Maslen) confides in brother PC Steve Hunter (James Lloyd) about Kate Maltby’s (Tamsin Skan) pregnancy announcement, and warns him to keep his trap shut. DS Samantha Nixon (Lisa Maxwell) seems less keen for a date with Phil after he blew her out the night before, following Kate’s news. She’ll be even less keen when she confronts Kate and finds out the truth…

Lance and PCSO Laura Bryant (Melanie Kilburn) continue trying to help a local youth they think is in ominous Adi’s clutches, and Phil and Sam investigate the theft of a laptop containing bondage video clips. Who is the voyeur?

So that answers who the mother of Phil's baby is. Kate Maltby you may recall was the woman Phil met at the sex addiction meeting. He got off with her the same night.

We can presume this is where Lynne Hunter comes into the storyline.


Oh and another quick thing.
The court room set has been revamped and replaced with another set for an intreguing new character.... my suspicion is this is either the drugs worker that is due to come in.. or the station dog which has been mentioned on the official site's opinion poll survey.

ALSO
Adi Mateen and the drugs story concerning Okaro will be uncovered as part of the undercover operation. Adi Mateen turns out to be the new DC who is undercover.

The whole thing about Phil denying he is the father of Kate's baby will arise from when he and Cindy were trying for a baby and he had to undergo tests to check his fertility. The doctor in ep 154 (I remember as it was Mickey's 2nd to last ep) told Phil that he was the problem and that he would not find it easy to get Cindy pregnant as his sperm count had dramatically reduced. He told the doc that he already had a kid... but the doc said this can happen with age. Therefore Phil probably genuinely feels that he cannot be the father as it never happened with Cindy after trying for so long.

However.... that doesn't mean that the baby isn't his and I strongly believe that it is his.. but I could be wrong.
