Fans of hit prison drama Bad Girls are in for a special treat as makers Shed are planning a live episode to mark the final episode of the series. Rumours are rife that the new series will be the shows last after spanning 7 years on ITV1. The episode will act as the finale of the series as well as an overall finale leaving the show open to a further 9th series if given the go-ahead by ITV. A Shed insider said "We don't get to know if a new series will be commissioned until after the series ends, so we try to make the series finales as closed as possible, the live episode will be fantastically ambitious and will see the return of a Larkhall favourite and no its not Fenner!". The new series of Bad Girls is expected to air in July, filming is currently well underway.

ooo a live episode sounds good this better not be an april fool lol, i really hope its not going to be the last series they do , if it i i hope they bring back shell dockley or one of teh originals that should be good

Ooooh this sounds brilliant! I really hope this isn't the last ever series of Bad Girls though. I love it soo much! Hopefully this series will be absolutely great so ITV1 will commission another series :)
