Personality swap?

Well after watching eastenders this week it is official to me anyways, grant is now phil and phil is now grant, phil is the agressor and grant is the calm headed one, and even though its good to have grant back i think phil is the one we should be looking out for if you want to see any hot headed action.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I think the change in Grant is down to Carla not being there to take care of Courtney so that she wouldn't see the sort of things that her Dad got up to, and to an extent, knowing how Ben feels about Phil and not wanting Courtney to feel the same way about him.

I think Grant is more the family man now but I don't think he would leave his brother to take on gangsters by himself.

I will say it before and it will say it again, Grant said he had the therapy when courtney was 2 before he met carla, yet when he was over last year he was still the hard man and the impulsive on.. Ee writers changed him in a few months...

He did say though that he hadn't hit anyone for ages (the last time he was here). He was there to help his brother which he was happy to do. But he's like that now, if Phil's in trouble he'll help him. I don't think that's out of character. If he's had therapy it would calm him down a bit, but family is family!

EE changed Phil's personality when Grant left. As you have said, Phil was always the more laid back (for a Mitchell, anyway) brother and Grant was always more aggressive. But Phil changed when he became an alcoholic and when Grant left.
