Kerrie hugged her knees and slowly began to rock herself backwards and forwards she could feel the guilt burning inside of her it was like she was on fire
And she had to get it out she had to get the guilt from inside her before it got her reaching into her bag she pulled out a sharp piece of glass she’d kept since the incident with the mirror earlier that day
Holding the glass to her already fragile and scarred skin as the blood trickled down Kerrie felt a sense of release
Rinsing her arm under the tap Kerrie felt ready to face the world as she opened the door she walked out
Noah- are you all right
Kerrie- never been better I suppose a funeral would be cheaper than divorce lawyers
Johnny- Kerrie
Kerrie- oh leave off dad it aint like you like him was it if I remember rightly you threatened to kill him on more than one occasion what am I supposed to say I’m sorry he’s dead well I’m not
She went to walk out but Noah grabbed her
Noah- who are you trying to convince us or yourself cos whatever it is aint working
Kerrie- oh yeah and what would you know what would you know about my relationship with Will
Noah- everything sweetheart I know everything
Kerrie- maybe you do but guess what I don’t give a damn anymore not about you, me, my dead husband, anyone so get your hands off me and get out my way

I'm so glad you like it all of you just a pre warning I'm working up to my finale so here goes :cheer: :cheer:
She pulled the door opened left the pub and she looked back at the door shutting against the people she loved
She was doing this for them they were better off without her it had taken her this long to work it out but now for the first time in years her head was clear she wasn’t going to end up like all the others
She opened the door to Number Five Kerrie picked up some writing paper and envelopes before making her way into the kitchen where she sat down and began writing three letters
Kerrie signed the letters before sealing them in three separate envelopes Kerrie wrote the names on the notes
Upstairs she opened the bathroom cabinet and placed two full bottles of pills in her bag it was now or never she climbed down the stairs and left the house and heading out of the door to her car it was time for her final goodbye

Dennis- maybe she just needs time to get her head around everything a lot has happened in one night
Suddenly Dennis swung round as he heard the screeching of the tyres
Noah- what is it
Dennis ran out of the pub but Kerrie’s Porsche was nowhere to be seen the door to number 5 swung open
Johnny, Ruby and Tina made their way over
Johnny- where is she
Dennis- your guess is as good as mine
Ruby’s phone beeped and she read the message before putting her phone away
Johnny- who was that
Ruby- just Stacey asking if everything was ok I’ll text her later
She looked guiltily at her father but she couldn’t betray her sister not for anyone

Kerrie stood in the empty graveyard it was cold and dark and she didn’t even know where she was going would it be dark or would there be sunshine was it far did it take long she hoped not she always got travel sick
Kerrie stood in front of Scarlet’s grave shaking her head swigging on a bottle of vodka
Kerrie- your better off out of this world babe
She slugged another mouthful of vodka before reading her mother’s headstone died just over a year ago loving wife oh yeah she was that all right and loving mother yeah she loved us even Kerrie who wasn’t hers Kerrie realised she put up with a lot from Johnny probably more than anyone realised
Kerrie made her way to another familiar grave this was her mother too and it was her all this had been about she was the reason she married Will if only she could tell her how much she wished she was still here
The pain of losing one mother had been difficult to deal with but when she lost another things got clouded she’d made it her sole mission to get Will for everything he did to her to her family an what he took away from her she hadn’t realised what a nasty piece of work he’d been
ohh its all coming out now!!
That was great babes well done!
You could maybe do a jake and Chrissie story?I don't know,
I writing a script at the mo, i'll post it soon but i'm writing a few parts to get me going!

Inside the house Johnny, Noah, Dennis and Tina looked around for her while Ruby sat in the living room fiddling with her mobile phone
Tina found the three letters in the kitchen one addressed to Johnny the other to Noah and the third and final addressed to Ruby
Tina passed the letters to the two men before calling Ruby
Ruby entered the kitchen and Tina gave her the letter
Johnny- its Kerrie’s hand writing
He quickly opened the envelope and out fell the letter picking it up he began to read it to himself
Kerrie- Dad I never thought I’d be writing this not even when things were really bad but it’s gone too far I’m all alone in this big wide world and it’s so scary I can’t do it anymore it’s not that I don’t love you because I do but there is no going back not after what I’ve done it’s so dark where I am now so dark but it will be light again and I’ll be safe and so will you remember me when it’s over but remember me when I was little girl when I use to ride my horse and dance in the rain I always loved the rain don’t remember me how I am now please I’m not proud of who I am and I know your not proud of me I’ll say hello to them for you when I see them look after Ruby she needs you more than ever love you always dad Kerrie
You said I’d always be your little girl, thought that would last forever, but you left me in this grown up world, I had to put myself together, at the end of the day, you showed me the way, I’m never in doubt
Someone’s watching over me, though sometimes I wish that you would look away, always watching over me, though it’s not perfect it can’t be any other way for me
Kerrie slumped beside her mother’s grave and opened the first bottle of pills
Kerrie- down the hatch
She swallowed a handful before washing them down with the remaining vodka

Noah nervously opened his letter judging by Johnny’s face it wasn’t looking good pulling out the letter he slowly read the words and tears formed in his sparkling blue eyes
Kerrie- First time I ever saw I wanted you but for the first time in my life I was doing all the running you my husband to be’s half brother you hated each other and you said you hated me you weren’t saying that when you took me to bed or when you fell in love with me and I with you because I do I really love you. You made me get up in the mornings you kept me going but I just can’t anymore don’t you get it now Will’s killed himself I’m at his level I can’t live with that please don’t hate I just wish things could have been different I stayed alive because of you now I’m dying for you but to save you not to punish you everyone I’ve touched I’ve hurt or lost I can’t bear the thought of ever hurting you but losing you I can’t face it. You’ll love again I know you will I’m so sorry forever and always yours Kerrie

Nobody said it was easy, it’s such a shame for us to part, nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard
Kerrie looked up at the stars she smiled her mum had said when her granny died she’d been about ten that when people died they went to heaven and they became a star but Kerrie knew it wasn’t heaven waiting for her in fact it as quite the opposite
She took anther handful of tablets and rested against the grave

With a shaky hand Ruby tore the envelope open
Ruby smiled as she read it
Kerrie- I never asked you for anything Rubes but here goes you have to make your big sister an unbreakable promise a promise that you must keep all your life a promise to me and this promise is that no matter what you do you annoy dad as much as possible no seriously you live your life to the full you do what you want and don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t do something put your mind to it Ruby you can do anything or be anyone as long as you stay true to yourself I’ve done some stupid things but I always stuck to what I believed in even if it did kind of blow up in my face but what ever you become I will be there even if you can’t see me and I’ll always be proud of you whatever steps you take but I know that inside of you there’s something and that something I had too so I know you’ll be just fine be happy, stay safe, always trust yourself you’ll go far on that alone and always remember dad keeps spare change in the tin next to the CD player he don’t know that I know and now you know love you Kerrie

Johnny looked at his youngest daughter
Ruby- she sent me a text saying she was saying her final goodbyes and that she wants me to have all her stuff as she forgot to write it in the letter
Johnny took the phone off his youngest daughter and read the text
Johnny- so where is she
Ruby- saying her goodbyes to her mums and Scarlet
Johnny- Tina stay here with Ruby
Noah, Dennis and Johnny left the house and climbed in one of Johnny’s cars before speeding away
Ruby looked up at Tina
Ruby- will she be ok
Tina put her arms around her
Tina- I hope so sweetheart I really do
Tina knew Johnny wouldn’t cope with losing another daughter it would destroy him

hello again here we are again and here I am again posting more :cheer:
Kerrie was beginning to feel sleepy her vision was beginning to become distorted and blurred she tried to focus on something but it was too dark to really see a flash of light caused her to sit up slightly it took all her strength to look around she could hear muffled voices one sounded so familiar
Johnny- Kerrie
Kerrie- your too late dad much too late but before I go I want to tell you something
Dennis got out his phone
Dennis- I’ve got no signal Noah
Noah shook his head- nothing
Johnny passed Dennis the car keys
Johnny- drive until you get a signal
Dennis nodded and took the keys before sprinting across the graveyard
Johnny- Jesus Kerrie how much have you taken
Kerrie- didn’t count them
Noah picked up the two empty bottles some pills lay scattered on the grass but there was a lot missing
Noah- were the bottles full Kerrie
Kerrie nodded slowly her head felt so heavy like she couldn’t lift it she opened her mouth to speak all but it felt like she was in slow motion
Kerrie- daddy listen its ok you know I’m not scared not anymore the pain will stop the memories will fade I won’t be haunted by my past anymore
Johnny- I can’t let you go I just can’t
Kerrie- but its too late you need to listen I had other reasons
Johnny- to do what
Kerrie slowly began to close her eyes
Noah- stay with us Kerrie keep talking
Kerrie began to speak again her breathing was becoming faster
Kerrie- he was cheating on me, divorcing me, trying to set you up but that wasn’t why I had him put in prison he took something away from me dad he took her
Johnny- who
Kerrie- my mum

Dennis at last managed to get a signal
Dennis- yeah ambulance please Walford cemetery a friend she’s taken an overdose I don’t know how many but she’s in a bad way thanks
Dennis quickly spun the car around before making his way back to the cemetery
The party had quickly broken up after the arrival of the police and Kerrie and Noah’s dramatic row but Chrissie didn’t care she felt good about things for the first time in ages she sat on the bed rubbing her plaster
Jake walked in
Jake- sore
Chrissie- yeah a bit can’t wait until I can get it off
Jake sat next to her
Jake- come here
He wrapped his arms around her
Chrissie- I’m knackered
Jake- me too
He kissed her
Chrissie- do you think everything will be ok with the baby
Jake- everything will be fine trust me come on bed
Chrissie- yes sir
She climbed into bed while Jake climbed in the other side
Chrissie- do you know what
Jake- what
Chrissie- I’ve got this terrible feeling I’m going to grow up to be just like Pauline Fowler
Jake pulled a face
Jake- I hope not eugh the thought you’ve just put into my head anyway you’re far too sexy to end up a dragon like Pauline Fowler
Chrissie- do you know what I’m starting to see why I love you
Jake- do you mean to say you were having trouble thinking of reasons as to why I’m so fantastic
Chrissie- well I can think of one reason and I know for a fact neither of us will be having any of that for a while not while I’m pregnant
Jake- dirty mare
Chrissie giggled as Jake wrapped his arms around her waist
Jake- we’ll be fine you know
Chrissie nodded- I know we will

Johnny- your mum
Kerrie- when I was eighteen I had a look through some of mum’s stuff I found a couple of addresses so I went to visit I found out why she died why she killed herself I wanted to tell you but this was something I had to do alone
Noah- take it easy Kerrie the ambulance will be here soon
Kerrie- an old mate that she’d flat shared with just after I was born told me why
Johnny puzzled by his daughter’s outburst asked her the question she desperately wanted to hear
Johnny- why did she kill herself
Kerrie- because her boyfriend at the time put on the game and she couldn’t cope
Kerrie’s voice faltered as she spoke tears skimmed her already wet cheeks
Kerrie- apparently he was violent and mum was vulnerable she would have left him but she was scared he’d come after her and hurt me he pimped her beat her then drove her to suicide I couldn’t let it go it ate me up the hatred the guilt
Johnny- I’m not following
Kerrie closed her eyes and lay back into her father’s arms
Kerrie- daddy I married Will because he was the man who pimped my mother he killed her he took her away but now don’t you see I’m as bad as him I drove him to suicide I can’t do it I flirted with him made him love me then I ruined him but in between all that I fell in love
Tears falling she looked up to Noah
Kerrie- I do love you I always will
Her eyes closed and her body began to shake as her life seemed to slip away from her, form formed in her half open mouth the fitting stopped as the sirens were heard approaching the graveyard

The paramedics rushed over and Kerrie was soon being resuscitated by them as the life just seemed to fading out of her
Noah fought back the tears as he watched them shock her, the woman he loved was finally broken shattered and destroyed even if they got her back would she ever be the same again
Johnny watched his daughter why hadn’t he realised how close to the edge she was he felt the guilt rising up inside her the same guilt Kerrie probably felt the same guilt he felt on the day he buried his wife and daughter
Kerrie’s lifeless body was placed into the ambulance and taken to Walford General
Johnny, Noah and Dennis followed in the car in silence
Noah thought about the happy times he and Kerrie shared, Dennis remembered the first day he met her, the smile she given him whilst Johnny thought about Ruby how would he tell her if Kerrie died how would he break the news

A week had passed since that ill fated night and the church was packed as mourners gathered for the funeral there stood Noah, Johnny and Dennis as well as Ruby and Tina many of the others were unknown just paying their respects to the dead maybe they had known the deceased maybe they only met them the once
An elderly gentleman got up and began a reading
Man- There is no death, the dust we tread shall change between the showers to golden grain or rainbow tinted flowers, and ever near us though unseen the Immortal spirits tread through all the boundless universe in life, there are no dead
Silently the congregation stood as the coffin was picked up and the walk began to the graveside

Chrissie and Jake entered the room and a man stood up
Dr Matthews- Chrissie Watts I’m Doctor Matthews have a seat
The pair sat down nervously in front of the doctor both wondering if it would be good or bad news
Dr Matthews- ok if you’d like to get up on to the couch I’ll do an ultrasound and see how the baby is
Chrissie climbed onto the couch
Chrissie- and what id there is something wrong
Jake stood next to her holding her hand he squeezed it tightly
Jake- shhhh! It’s ok
The doctor squirted the gel onto her bare tummy before switching on the scanner
Dr Matthews watched the screen carefully and the couple waited until he’d finished he turned to look at them well everything seems very normal your baby is healthy and the correct size for eight weeks
Jake and Chrissie hugged laughing
Chrissie- thanks
Dr Matthews- your welcome looks like you’ve got yourself a fighter in there, here
He handed them a scan picture
Chrissie- look
She showed Jake the picture and together they gazed at their baby wonderingly
Jake- it looks so tiny
Chrissie- this is now Jake Moon no turning back now
Jake- I wouldn’t want to
Chrissie- let’s go home and celebrate
Jake- sounds like a plan
The pair thanked the doctor once more before leaving the hospital together both excited about the future
I'm a stupid wee... there's me thinking there was a posibility it could be Den's seeing as she wasn't with Jake all that long, okay... no? Okay :o

As the mourners stood by the graveside and the coffin was lowered into the empty hole
One by one they left leaving just Noah, Dennis, Johnny, Tina and Ruby standing there
Dennis stepped away he hated funerals full of people who really didn’t give a damn
Next to follow was Tina and Ruby both had enough for one day they had said goodbye but that was it now it was over time to start again
Noah and Johnny stood side by side
Noah pulled the white rose he had pinned to his suit and dropped it onto the coffin he shook his head and turned around as another figure approached the graveside
Noah- what are you doing here?
Kerrie- didn’t think I’d miss my husband’s funeral did you
She placed a red rose in the grave before smiling to her dad and boyfriend
Kerrie- thanks
Johnny- what for
Kerrie- for bringing me back it’s made me realise how precious life is and I’m not wasting another minute of it on Will King or any other bit of my past
Noah- I’ll drink to that your round is it
Kerrie- mine no I think it’s yours
Noah- no I think it’s yours actually
Johnny- enough I’ll get them in but soft drinks for you young lady
Kerrie- yes daddy
Noah- hey does that mean you’re going to marry me now instead of the half wit in the box
Kerrie- is this your idea of a proposal
Noah- yeah
Kerrie- at my dead husbands grave your brothers grave
Noah- half brother actually is that a yes
Kerrie grinned- no
Noah- is that a no
Kerrie- no
Noah- so it’s a maybe
Kerrie- maybe
The three headed off
Kerrie turned slightly a look of guilt flickered across her face as she looked into the grave
Catching up with the others they headed back to Walford for a new start
