View Full Version : Samantha/Stuart/Phil. Proper show spoilers not opinion.
6th March 2006.
Phil tries to hide his green eyed monster when DS Samantha Nixon works with DS Stuart Turner to investigate a fraudster called Stephen Bayliss (Richard Lintern). Phil sadly notices how tactile and flirty they are with each other plus they clearly make a good team. Is Phil’s jealously professional or more personal?
Spring/Summer of 2006
Romance is finally on the cards for DS Samantha Nixon at long last, not only that but it‘s new boy, so called ‘too good to be true’ DS Stuart Turner. Stuart maybe Sam’s perfect man, but crafty DS Phil Hunter is determined on destroying their relationship. Will they manage to get together or will Phil’s jealousy succeed in reminding Sam of old and forgotten feelings?
Ooh, it sounds so good!!!
Major changes are in store for the team, when Supt Adam Okaro (Cyril Nri) makes a career leap to become Borough Commander, leaving the team worrying over who will be his successor. The emergence of the new ‘Zero Tolerance’ superintendent will bring a brand new era to Sun Hill, whether the officers are ready for it or not...
DC Mickey Webb (Chris Simmons) realises he has bitten off far more than he can chew when he tries to protect old flame Fern Parker (Hannah Waterman) and her children from the monster who was once his friend. The situation escalates when, facing up to the horrific consequences of a marriage of physical abuse, Fern is pushed to the limit by husband Tom (Rocky Marshall).
Meanwhile, Mickey’s new love, Mia Perry (Jo-Anne Knowles), is frustrated by his reluctance to commit to their relationship. Unaware of his traumatic past, Mia goads him with an ultimatum which she could live to regret.
DC Terry Perkins (Bruce Byron) finds that forging a relationship with his children after a two-year absence is harder than he ever imagined. Ex-wife Helen (Angela Lonsdale) is another obstacle to overcome in order for Terry to even attempt to recreate domestic bliss. Could they possibly salvage a future together?
Maverick cop DC Zain Nadir (TJ Ramini) goes off on his own search for justice. Disillusioned with conventional policing methods, Zain poses as a corrupt cop becoming immersed in the life of a glamorous drug dealer in the hope of achieving a big bust. He drags his colleagues into his mess, but even they distance themselves when his dealings become too dark.
PC Will Fletcher (Gary Lucy) gets his fingers burnt when he becomes romantically involved with colleague PC Emma Keane (Melanie Gutteridge), whose complicated love life is about to catch up with both of them. Distraught, Will finds that falling in love could cost him his career.
Romance is also ripe for DS Sam Nixon (Lisa Maxwell) at long last, in the shape of ‘too-good-to-be-true’ DS Stuart Turner (Doug Rao). Stuart may tick all the right boxes to make him Sam’s perfect man, but DS Phil Hunter (Scott Maslen) is intent on destroying their relationship. Will it ever get off the ground or could Phil’s jealousy succeed in stirring up old feelings in Sam?
Single-parenthood continues to challenge career-driven DI Neil Manson (Andrew Lancel), though he is shocked to discover the strengths of his feelings for his son when his access rights are threatened.

These sound really exciting. Seems like there's going to be a lot of romance in the air in Sun Hill this spring/summer. The Will/Emma stuff sounds really interesting so can't wait until this storyline develops and Adam is leaving Sun Hill and not being killed off which is good as it makes a change. No mention of Yvonne though. Does she leave before Adam??

please refrain from turning every bill thread into a sam and phil love fest...
this is a persistant problem on the boards, and is iritating many a member.
there are specefic threads, for this idolisation of the pair, if your going to do it anywhere, do it there.

Where? It's not like you've sorted the 'problem'. It's only a problem for the small handful that don't like Sam/Phil. The majority do so what's the problem?
Anyway, I've heard that Stuart and Sam or working on a case and Stuart asks Sam out to dinner. She tells him that she fears he'll use her but then is happy when he tells her that he likes her, alot. They share a passionate kiss before going for a romantic date.

The problem is that every Bill thread degenerated into a Sam and Phil lovefest BB who moderates the thread was responding to requests from REAL BILLFANS who wanted to discuss things other than the imaginary love lives of two imaginary characters in an imaginary police station set in an imaginary area of London. He has set up a thread where Sam Nixon and Phil Humter fanatics can post away to their hearts content about their fantasies involving these two characters. It seems to have been working succesfully until your post
