Elliot’s daughter, Martha, tricks Joseph into coming to look at Gina
at home, as the medical drama continues. Gina’s condition – motor
neurone disease – is worsening but both she and Elliot have so far
managed to keep it a secret from Marsha.
When Gina deteriorates rapidly and needs an emergency
procedure, she is adamant that she does not want the treatment.
However, against her wishes, Elliot manages to perform the
operation in secret at the hospital.At home, when Gina comes
