I dont smoke so they can put that up, but what about us car drivers we get hit every year.
If you have a large car then you should pay more than someone with a small car.
They should make the poll tax fair i live in Kensington and im paying the same poll tax as Kensington palace where princess Diana lived, and i live on my own in a masionette Hows that fair.
None of the above.. I would be more worried about personal tax
If you had to choose one of the above....
for me its road tax and alcohol, not that i am a raving drunk its because its my job to sell it!!!!

road tax and fags!! but i'm glad i don't drive a 4 wheel drive! that has gone up hellish if you can afford to pay
£29,000 or more for a 4x4 to drive around town, and take the children to school, when they were designed for the countyside and rough ground then you can afford the hype on the road tax. After all they cause more damage. to the road surface then my small vauxhall corsa, Have you noticed spirits havent gone up again, strange that as the MP's would have to pay more for thier whisky.

stamp duty whats taht?
stamp duty is something to do with buying houses i think (we did it at school, or am i thinking of something else?)
Personally, pensions - i want to know that i am working my backside off at the moment, to be able to afford a comfortable retirement, not worry about having to surive on £70 odd per week, like some people now have to. Road tax, well, thats up to the individual on what car they purchase - if they drive a guzzler, they should pay retrospectively for it, though i would prefer to see fuel prices come down a huge amoutn.

the car tax is a great idea. something needs to be done about range rovers, 4x4's etc been driven round our towns when they were not meant for that. im ok as i have a vauxhall corsa!
i also think the pensions issue is quite big though, it needs to be addressed. will we even have a state pension for our retirement?
