Ex EastEnders star Chris Parker is apparently being lined up for a major US film role.

The actor, who played Spencer Moon before leaving the soap in 2004, is in the running to play the lead in a factually-based film about autistic basketball hotshot Jason McElwain.

22-year-old Parker has been living in Los Angeles since last November with a view to cracking the US. "He has been networking since he arrived," a source told the Daily Star at the weekend. "If he can get the accent down he has the perfect fresh-faced look to pull it off. This really is his big chance in Hollywood."

well good luck but it hardly ever happens, I mean how many British soap stars make it big in Hollywood? hardly any, I think many of them aim to high.
