Even though she and Tom are officially separating, Lorna issurprisingly upbeat, as the drama set in a failing Northern
comprehensive school continues. She decides to change her whole
image, telling Izzie she needs a fresh start – but is she secretly
hoping that her sexy new outfits will rekindle Tom’s passion?
Tom, however, is still very much in love with Izzie. He tries to keep
his distance, but his feelings are too strong to ignore.When Tom
puts her on the spot, will Izzie continue to resist or will she give
in to her growing desire?
Zak is late for school again and Head of English, Grantly Budgen,
has had enough. He confides in Andrew that he thinks Zak’s
problem could be drug related. But when Zak does a runner from
detention,Andrew and Kim are forced to look into the matter.
They make a home visit to speak to his mother and soon get their
answers – Zak needs their support, not their condemnation.
Chlo is sticking to the pact she made with Donte, insisting that
she was driving on the night of the crash, and tells the police so.
But neither the police nor Izzie believe her, so Chlo has to resort
to desperate measures in order to convince everyone that
she’s serious…Steph Haydock is fearful of losing her job, so she fakes a break-in
to her classroom and disposes of the incriminating coursework.
Jack and Andrew are highly suspicious of this convenient
disappearing act, but without proof, what can they do? Surely Steph
can’t dodge the axe for much longer…
