The latest rumour is that J Lo (Jennifer Lopez) will be playing Sue Ellen Ewing in the Dallas remake alongside John Travolta as the oil baron JR EWING!

I do noit believe the idiots that are doing the casting!!! J Lo as sue Ellen!? No way!!!

Sue ellen wasnt about looks...she was the 30 something troubled woman...played superbly my linda grey...

how i see it, as with the case of the dynasty remake, its hard to imagine anyone in the roles of the main characters...so they need to get the casting just right or it just wont work...

JOLo is all wrong for Sue Ellens role, as BB said Sue was a troubled near middle aged woman.. Jo Lo would be fine for one of the maids to be honest,, They need some one just a bit loftier than Jo Lo for that role,,

Can you see John Travolta as JR ?? I can't!!!! Casting for such a superb cast from that program has to be done carefully or they are going to have a very very expensive movie that bombs,, if they are going to use eleborate costumes ( like in the original program) its gonna cost a poo poo load of moola,, But don't get me started,, they gotta get the casting right or this thing is gonna BOMB......:ninja:

Bobby - Luke Wilson

I'm definately not watching it if jlo is in it :p i cant stand her! and especially as sue ellen. I think Bill Murry would be a good Jock. And Luke Wilson.. is he the guy with brown hair? looks a tiny bit like david arquette?

Bry keep us posted as to what is going on,,, Bill Murray as Jock ??? Oh Ok I just can't see Bill as Jock..Luke Wilson is he the same guy who was in DUKES AND HAZARDS with Ben Stiller ?? Shirley Mc Laine,, excellent...Brad Pitt oh come on !!!!!!Hes just a bit too "pretty" for Rays character, cos Ray was a rough ranch manager Catherine Zeta as Pam.. isnt Catherine a bit too old for that character cos Pam was in her early 20's.....Ok I am just spouting off my 2 euros worth,,:hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

i've not decided who I think should play bobby, pam or Jock but I think the parts of JR and Sue Ellen should go to Nicholas Cage and Susan Saradon as nick has a fab texas accent anyway you can just imagine him saying "sue ellen your a tramp a drunk and an unfit mother" with Susan acting the drunk with her big stary eyes
