According to today's SUN (http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006120273,00.html) three more actors are to leave Britains top soap. This is in addition to the axings we already know about and mentioned HERE (http://www.soapboards.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45490)
Personally I will be delighted to see the back of the three of them. :cheer:
Kate Ford - Cant Act
Bill Ward - Has had his day
Richard Fleeshman - What is the point of him anyway
i am pleased to see them go to, had there storys now its someone elses turn.
After his axing spree theres not going to be many familier characters.

I can see that Charlie may have ran his course but the others should stay!

i think the character of Charlie has run its course after the Shelley storyline he should have just left unless they do something fantastic with him and Tracey as a couple.
I will be sorry to see Tracey left as she is a good soap bitch and has lots of potential left. Craig should have moved on to live with Keith else where when Angela was sent to prison Richard is a far better singer then actor.

No loss really, though it will be sad to see Craig go. I suppose Keith will now go as well, if not I will be surprised.
I just hope they don't kill Tracy off.
Hardly surprising about Richard. You knew that once he won Soap Star Superstar it wouldn't be long before he left. Shame about Kate as she spices corrie up and so does Charlie.
So looks like a face lift just like Eastenders, which at the mo isn't working for me.
On the BBC website this morning it says that these are false rumours - all three have signed new contracts in the past 2 weeks.

I think Craig has got lots of potential and Corrie would lose out if they don't keep him in the show. :D
I also like Tracy ( :eek: ) and surprisingly have warmed to Charlie. ( :eek: :eek: )

Do you mean the ITV website? I thought Richaed signed a new contract about a week or two ago.

it hink Craig is good in the show. I like the Rosie and Craig storyline, the others can go, they bore me!

Coronation Street producers have denied reports that three of the soap's stars are leaving, adding the trio have all signed new contracts.
The Sun claimed Kate Ford, Bill Ward and Richard Fleeshman - who play Tracy Barlow, Charlie Stubbs and Craig Harris - would leave the long-running show.
However, an ITV spokesman said: "The three artists have all signed new contracts in the last two weeks."
Johnny Briggs filmed his last scenes on Monday after 30 years as Mike Baldwin.
His exit from the programme - also involving his arch rival Ken Barlow - will be broadcast in the UK in April.
Richard Fleeshman was this year's winner of the ITV1 song contest Soapstar Superstar.
The 16-year-old beat colleague Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland in the show, in the final in January. ITV declined to comment on the nature of the actors' new contracts.

It is a false story, all three have just signed new contracts in the past 2 weeks, just read it on digital spy, it is thier main story!

It is a shame love or hate her but Tracey is a great character and i love Charlie he is so gorgeous and there is a shortage of hunks in Corrie. Craig we could this happening since he won Soapstar Superstar he head has got to big. Am i the only person who doesn't think he is that great a singer.

I thought he was fab on Soapstar Superstar and didn't come across big headed at all.

I think the Rosie and Craig storyline has gone on for too long, and well frankly Tracey has become boring with Charlie.

Richard has signed a 6 month extension to his contract, while Bill and Kate have penned an extra 12 month deal. :thumbsdow
