baby sickness

paige started with the sickness last night i have been giving her cool water how long should i give it to her and when do start giveing her milk again

Is she still being sick on the water?? Make sure you keep the water going, to keep hydrated - I generally stay with water for 24 hrs then gradually bring the milk back into their feeds when my boys were ill when they were young, but check with your health visitor too....

ok thanks hun she has had 2 5oz bottles of water this morning and has still been slighty sick but not as lot as she was last night

Introduce her back really slowly to food. When ben was sick, my doctor told me to feed him every 2 hours and only give him small bits of food or milk. He is back to normal now and eating like a horse

I always gave my two flat 7-up or sprite when they were sick, not a lot just a couple of ounces as well as water - they need re-hydration and the sugar in the drink helps - a doctor told me that one - its as good as that stuff you mix in water.
