When you get to over 25 its ok. Its not really much of a age gap its just when one of the people involved is under 18 when things get wierd.I say go for it theres not much of an age gap.

I say go for it and enjoy yourself,it not much of a gap really. As long as he is mature, I can't so a problem.

4 years isn't that bigger age gap for people in their 20s. My friend has a sister who is 16 and she has a boyfriend who is 13 - that is what I call a big age gap.

yes i do think it depends on your ages to begin with. a boy a few years younger can be a hugh age difference in your teens but as you mature age ceases to be important i think.

Cheers guys!! He is very mature for his age, plus he's fine!!!

The other problem is that we work together.....

Aww, how close sort of working (what is your job anyway lol :p)

If you see him quite a lot of the time then if you do break up you'd probably not be able to stand the sight of each other so it wouldn't be best to get together with him... but then again if you were blissfully happy for eternity and always wanted to see each other and never got into fights it could be the best thing that ever happened... it depends how strongly you feel about him and how strongly he feels about you I suppose...

But if you don't see him very much at work then that'd be ok, because if you did ever break up then you wouldn't even see him that often and could avoid him easily without painful feelings coming back...

We do completely different jobs, but its a small company. Oh well we shall see how it goes. Everyone in work now knows we're going out and everyone was fine with it (no one's taken the mick...yet!!)

Lol, well you never know! You might meet your perfect man tommorow and nothing will go wrong! :D Oh who am I kidding? Love sucks, we put ourselves through total pain and misery for it - and what does it do for us? Stabs us in the back.
Just spreading the joy for you all! :p

when i was 22 i was in a short relasonship with someone who was 16! but his mum found out and made him end it with me, it wouldn't have worked anyway when i think back.

I turned 26 a couple of weeks ago and my boyfriend is 22, 23 in May. We've been together just coming up to 2 years and we have never ever had a problem with the age difference. We are both very happy together.

If your new man was 26 and you were 22, i bet you wouldn't be giving age a second thought!

Just go for it - do whatever makes you happy. I've dated men that were up to 10 years older than me and i can safely say that the younger man is the way to go for me! x

I think a age gap depends at what age you met,I know some one who is with some some 13 years old and as they are in thier forties and fifties it doesnt seem to matter. But my first husband was 13 years old then me,when we wed.I was 23 and it became a hugh differance in the end with him wanting to listen to glen miller and me wanting Adam and The Ants. Also he encouraged me to dress older than my age, wearing hats and gloves all the time Looking back I dress younger now that I am 52,then when I was 23/24. :rotfl:....Did the marraige last. ... no he was always looking for a younger model to boost his ego.
