Just heard from NB Its a boy 7lbs 5oz no more infor just now but will let you know if i get anymore or the man himself will

Thanks everyone for your messages. Its been a hectic day. The baby was induced this morning and labour started almost immediately. Everything was going fine till the final stages when they decided the babys head wasn't straight. They put on one of those suction things, but had difficulty getting it to stick. By then they had decided the baby was in distress and decided to do a caesarian.

The next hour was the longest i'll ever remember but thank God that everything went OK. We've an absolutely beautiful baby boy and he's got two very proud parents (albiet we're both nervous wrecks).

The baby is very well behaved. Doesn't cry much, happy on mothers milk and very alert. Lets hope he's the same way at night time!

The general consensus is that he looks mostly like his mum. He has "skin tags" on and near his ear. One fell off today, and the docs are hoping the other will fall off otherwise it'll be a quick snip and stich.

we have one midwife over here who is a right cow. she points at the child and screams, who own this thing, if the baby is crying.

I am so happy for you, it is really exciting time having the baby in the house for the first time. you have so much to look forward too. best of luck NB.
