Ashley is still planning on leaving the Street whether Claire and Fred like it or not, so Claire reluctantly books the B+B in Scotland. But as they start preparing for Joshua’s birthday party, Matt phones up and demands to speak to Ashley. Claire gets upset and puts the phone down on him, telling him it’s not a good time.
The celebrations are in full swing until Matt and Sylvia appear at the front door just as Josh is about to blow out his candles. Matt is stern and tells them that he is not the enemy but Ashley is distraught by his sudden arrival and orders him out.
Matt won’t budge until Fred stands up for his son’s family and gives him a piece of his mind. Sylvia realises the trouble they are causing and coaxes her husband to leave, but does Matt take her advice?
Over in Mike’s flat, Danny and Leanne discuss the implications of Mike being so ill. She thinks that Mike needs specialist care, but Danny says he won’t ever put him in a home. Penny then comes to visit Mike and tells Leanne and Danny she will look after him while he is sleeping if they want to go out.
But when Mike wakes up he doesn’t have a clue who she is and asks her to leave. He keeps telling her that Alma will come home and find her in the house. What will poor Penny’s reaction be to Mike’s confusion?
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Maria asks Tyrone for half of their wedding fund and to sell the engagement ring. Tyrone says he will think about it, but when he tells Molly she tells him to stand his ground as most of the money put in to the account was his.

Charlie and Tracy are back from their holiday and all seems well. She goes to see Amy and tells her family it won’t be long before Amy will come to live with her and Charlie. Later she pops into town and buys a pregnancy test, then when she gets home she carefully pulls it from the carton and leaves it half hidden near Charlie’s pile of clothes. When Charlie gets back form work he quickly finds the test and is absolutely stunned when Tracy calmly tells him he is going to be a daddy. What is toxic Tracy up to?
Elsewhere in Weatherfield it’s Sarah and Jason’s anniversary, exactly eighteen months to the day since Candice’s party. They kiss and cuddle in the Rovers but when Jason starts talking to ex Violet, Sarah storms out. He runs after her only to have the front door slammed in his face. Will the two tactile lovebirds make up?
Mike turns up at Underworld in the early morning and bangs on the doors of the factory, trying to get inside. He is livid because Danny (Bradley Walsh) has changed the locks on him and cannot remember that he is not supposed to be ‘hands on’ anymore. Danny comes to get him but Mike is mad with rage and accuses Danny of trying to steal the factory from him.
Gobsmacked Charlie struggles to absorb ‘nervous’ Tracy’s news about her pregnancy. She swears to him that she didn’t get pregnant deliberately and that the baby is definitely his. Charlie believes her but then asks what they will do now? Tracy tells him she wants the baby, but Charlie definitely does not and tells her she has to get rid of it. He eventually persuades her to have a termination and she reluctantly agrees. He thinks he has played a blinder by getting her to do what he wants but Tracy’s face is far smugger, he has fallen for her scam hook, line and sinker!
Back in the Rovers Sarah is making Jason ignore Violet as she thinks that it is the only way they will stop having rows. This doesn’t last long though and when Sarah thinks he has acknowledged Violet she loses her temper and chucks a drink over him.
And over in Mike’s apartment, Mike is confused at Leanne being in his home. She is dressed in just a towel and is on her way to have a shower, when Mike calls a friend and asks if he was out on the pull last night. Mike believes that he has had a one night stand with Leanne and makes a move on her. She recoils in horror and tries to explain that she is his son’s girlfriend, but poor Mike is left more confused than ever.

It’s the day of Tracy’s termination, Charlie gives her the cash for the procedure and offers to go with her but Tracy says she’ll be fine on her own. She acts subdued but when Ronnie sees her in town she catches her buying a very expensive pair of shoes. Tracy begs Ronnie not to say anything but tells Amy she has a little secret – she’s going to be living with mummy again really soon over at Uncle Charlie’s. What is Tracy up to?
A furious Sarah admits she’s making Jason sweat by ignoring his messages but her anger is incensed when she goes to the Rovers only to be told by Violet that Jason proposed to her just a couple of weeks ago. As the shocking news sinks in Jason arrives to plead his case but Sarah isn’t prepared to listen and throws another pint of beer in his face. Will the volatile couple ever make up?
Meanwhile as an exhausted Leanne wakes to find Mike and the flat in a state again she realises she’s way out of her depth and calls Deirdre. She agrees to look after Mike for a while and the two reminisce in what proves to be an emotional afternoon for Deirdre.
Elsewhere Maria’s disappointed when Audrey reveals she’s decided not to retire just yet and Bev asks Fred to move in with her.

Charlie’s fed up having spent the night on the sofa but when Tracy asks him if he thinks they could still have a baby together one day he feels forced to humour her. Tracy continues with her subdued act but over at the Barlows she happily announces that Amy will be moving back in with her and Charlie. As she plays out the final part of her abortion scam she tells Charlie how much she misses Amy. She lays it on thick using the abortion to claim that having last one child she needs to be near the other. Will Charlie take the bait?
Leanne’s had enough of being left alone caring for Mike so when he offers to take her shopping she jumps at the chance. She knows she’s taking advantage of his mental state but Leanne can’t help herself as she trawls Mike around the shops. How will Danny react when he finds her back at home with her new wares?
Meanwhile Sarah’s in a foul mood as she and Jason continue to wind each other up, Liz asks Vernon to move in with her when he gets thrown out of his flat, and Bev and Shelley jostle for position at the Rovers.
