Question: Are Chloe and Clark going to hook up on Smallville, given the fact that the story between Clark and Lana is over? — Van

Ausiello: Over? Tell that to Clark. As things between Lana and Lex heat up, Superman is going to morph into Stalkerman.

Question: Please!! I need some Smallville spoilers! — Tia

Ausiello: Lex is headed for a betrayal by Brainiac/Milton Fine (James Marsters) that could leave young Mr. Luthor with some superpowers of his own.

Please tell me John Schneider will make a return to Smallville this season. I'm having Jonathan withdrawal, especially now that Lionel is putting the moves on Martha. — Ally

Ausiello: I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the erstwhile Bo Duke during May sweeps, when Jonathan haunts Clark after it's revealed that someone else knows his secrets.

Ausiello: Long enough for Chloe to think she has a real chance with Clark. In other Smallville scoopage, look for Lois to fall for a Smallville High grad who will turn out to be a hit man with meteor-freak powers. And Lex is going to cook up a supervirus made of Ebola, smallpox, the hanta virus and over 20 more diseases. Hmmm… maybe that's what I have.

Ausiello: Yes, they'll both pop up in the season finale — but they won't be who we think they are. And here's another finale superscoop: Lois and another major character will end up on an airplane that's locked in autopilot — and there's only one person who knows where it's headed. (Hint: He looks like a platinum-topped vampire we once knew and loved.)

Ausiello: This season's cliff-hanger will revolve around a huge choice Clark must make. And it doesn't involve anyone whose name starts with L.

i really didn't want lana and clark to split up , i wanted lana and clark to live happy but its never that simple. I do feel sorry for lex though, he's in love with lana and i dont she feels the same way

I kind of want Lana and Clark to split up.. Lana's really annoying me at the moment for some reason :p and I was always more a chloe/clark fan although that won't ever happen hah.

Ausiello: Not likely. With Milton and Lex teaming up to basically destroy mankind, Clark won’t have time for tonsil hockey.

Ausiello: Let me say this: If the finale ends the way they have it planned now, next season could see a whole world of change for our wonder boy.

Ausiello: Not officially, but it's a shoo-in. And this just in: Lex's late mother will make an appearance in next month's finale.
