The two-hour season finale, says Cherry, "will be a mixture of current stories and flashbacks on how all the women came to Wisteria Lane." Dead characters will return. The show also will be giving Alfre Woodard and Mehcad Brooks' characters "a big finale" — allowing next season's mystery to focus on one of the four housewives, who "will end up in a serious relationship with a man who has some pretty dark secrets," Cherry hints.

I know Alfre plays betty, anyonje know who Mehcad plays?

Hmmm does not sound like a good season finale not like last years with the whole Susan trapped in the house with Zack it was brilliant.

I agree there will be some sort of cliffhanger to make us want to watch the next series. I wonder what teh big finale will be though? We already know what Matthew did.

I think the dead characters returing may include Rex (just a guess).

As if Bree didn’t have enough to contend with, Wisteria Lane’s resident alcoholic is about to fall for a sex addict played by former Oz star Lee Tergesen. Of course, Bree won’t know he’s a sex addict until his sponsor shows up at her front door and tells her. Tergesen’s multi-episode arc kicks off on March 26. While we're dishing Bree, Marc Cherry has apparently scrapped plans to introduce a fortysomething character with a "Tom Hanks likability" that would have figured prominently both in Bree's romantic life and in next season's big mystery.

And not everyone will survive."

Ausiello: The finale script is still being tweaked, but I have it on good authority that one Housewife will find out her spouse is an adulterer and another will discover she's expecting. And neither one will take the news well.

04/14 - One of the ladies is arrested by the police, with one of the kids in attendance. Another housewife takes golf lessons and gets hit on by the instructor.
