In memory of a VERY special cat, -My bubi "Teddy"-

I sincerly hope you guys dont mind me posting this here.

But I lost my baby kitten on Friday- Teddy.

I say baby, but he was actually 11 months old, however he was still my bubi, and pretty much a lively character. There was soooo much about him that I loved. And I DID love him.

He started to get poorly on Monday of this week, just wasn't himself. But Thursday he was no better and I toke him to the vets. The vet assumed it was just a bug, gave him an injection and said he should see him early Friday morning.

By Friday, he had lost all movemnet in his legs, was not eating or drinking, nor going to the toilet.

When the vet saw him, he immidatly said he had been poisened and went through a list of things that could have done this.

Lillies was one of them.

We had lillie plants in my sister room, on a high shelve from her birthday the other week. I knew they were poisionious to cats in some sense of the matter, but not this serious.

He was hopitalised at the vets all of Friday, put on a IV drip and administered serveral medicines. But in the end suffered renal failure.

His kidneys gave up on him.

My 11 month strong bubi...

As I said, I knew lilies were poisionous, but I didnt know the extent. Type in "lillies" and "cats" on google and you will understand.

However this isnt made public knowledge and the flowers didnt have the warning on.

Anyway... enougth....

This is just a memorial for Teddy "naughty" Pearson.

Aww, my cat went missing shortly before Christmas, he was a bit greedy and tbh he bit and stratched and I didn't like him much... but when he went missing I was really sad and scared for him, he came back Boxing Day luckily - he's was a bit thin but gained back his weight, and now I try to be nicer to him, he's still my little baby even though he's 7 year old :)

Aww! :wub: Mine would go missing for a couple of days sometimes... though I think he was just getting food from somewhere else, lol .. he's greedy but I still love him :) My other cat catches mice and birds... she's really good at catching hehe :) There not really explorers though... lazy things lol

Aww, yeah that's what happened when we first got them - couldn't let them out for ages, we had one when I was like 1 month and it got lost :(

Btw, the pics are so cute, they look a bit like Tigger actually :wub:

No from a colleague of my husband, our 16 year old cat died two month before and we were in tears, but he is so cute we could not resist and our other cat was so loneley.

I suggest you ask your 'sister' why hers are the most complained about posts on this forum. I think its disgusting that a 18 year old has to get her 'sister' to defend her.

I do have feeling, but I don't tolerate idiots and people trying to cause trouble on the boards. And because I'm on top of things, I have my serious doubts as to whether you are sisters.

awwwww so sorry to hear your cat has died i know what it is like to lose a cat i lost 2 of my cats a couple of years ago the got run over one at 9 months old named fluffy i wasnt aloud to see her because dad said she was looking really bad :crying: and i lost my other cat lucky at 17 months old i found her under a tree over the road from my house when i was leaving to go to school that really upset me i didnt go to school that day, i only have one cat left now she is 6 years old she never goes by the road because i think she was with her sister lucky when she got run over :crying:
