Liberty X star wants to quit group?

Liberty X member Kevin Simm is apparently planning to quit the group.

The singer hopes that 90's star Chesney Hawkes will write some solo material for him.

Chesney told the Daily Record, "Kevin and I were in Oslo where I was doing bits for Liberty X and for his solo projects. I think he'd like to do solo stuff."

A spokesperson for the group has denied that Simm has any immediate plans to quit.

"The band have three singles coming out and a fourth album planned for January 2007," he said.

Hes great as part of Liberty X, but don't think he'd do so well as a solo artist. I think he knows which side his bread is buttered really .

i like lyberty x but i don't think he is well known enough to be a solo star so he should stay with the band for a while longer
