'Step By Step'
Airs Monday, March 6 2006 at 14:05 on BBC One

Mac, having regained consciousness in hospital, ignores Julia's pleas for him to rest and insists on pestering the police to find Peter. Elizabeth visits him and makes Mac realise he's not letting Peter down by looking after himself.

Dr Nick West, the new locum, arrives at the Mill. Sarah is clearly interested, and Nick flirts back, but seems to be taken by Elizabeth too...

Faith goes to get her bag from Rob's and leave the keys, but finds him at home. Rob still can't believe that Lex would lie to him, but realises that Faith means what she says - Faith prepares to put her side across for the last time.

Meanwhile, George is called out to see Clare Morris who was recently blinded in an accident shortly after splitting up from her husband. Glen is now trying to get custody of the children on the grounds that the blindness means the children are not safe under Clare's care.

George reassures Clare that there is no reason she cannot be a perfectly able Mum with the support she is getting to adapt to the injuries, but Clare admits she has rejected all support, feeling perfectly able to cope on her own. George tries to persuade her to reconsider until she is fully adapted.

When under stress Claire gives her daughter the wrong medicine, she loses all confidence and tells her husband that he is right - the children will be safer with him. But Glen admits that he doesn't really want to take them off their mum - he was using the custody issue as an attempt to get Claire to take him back.

Claire confirms that the relationship was over before the accident - which Glen was responsible for due to not completing a task he'd promised to finish. Glen agrees to share custody and Claire agrees to accept support again until she is fully adapted.

'Taped'
Airs Tuesday, March 7 2006 at 14:05 on BBC One

Sarah tries to get Nick's attention but Elizabeth keeps interrupting them.

Rob confronts Lex about his lies and treatment of Faith. Lex admits he misses his Mum and father and son begin to bond.

George visits Mac in hospital as he prepares to be discharged, and Mac asks her to speak to Ronnie about forming a case against the PCT.

After she's gone, Peter enters the ward. Mac is nervous, but Peter apologises to him and breaks down, asking for help. Before Julia can leave home to collect Mac from hospital, Mac arrives home with Peter in tow.

Meanwhile, Jenny, a woman suffering from Anterograde Amnesia, uses a camcorder to record everyday memories. When her camera is stolen by a youth, the police take a confused Jenny to The Mill. Julia takes Jenny home, where her home help Peggy takes over, mentioning that Jenny's son who Jenny dislikes, has been putting her under pressure to move into a home.

Later, Julia goes to the station where Rob tells her they've found the camera - she takes the camera's video tape back to show Jenny, whose son Phil has now turned up. Julia plays the tape which shows Peggy stealing money from Jenny's purse - she paid her nephew to steal the camera to get rid of the evidence.

Jenny thinks Phil is also out to get her, referring to Peggy's references to him wanting her out, but Phil explains he wants her to move in with him, not into a home. As Peggy is arrested, Jenny watches more footage and learns from a conversation between Phil and Peggy that Jenny used to beat Phil as a child. She realises that she misjudged Phil and mother and son promise to erase the past.

'Honourable Gentleman'
Airs Wednesday, March 8 2006 at 14:05 on BBC One

Victor and Charles decide to settle a long standing feud, but refuse to tell Betty (Charles' sister and Victor's ex wife) what they have planned.

Charles asks Betty to promise not to marry Victor should anything happen to him, confusing and worrying Betty further.

Charles and Victor con Nick into agreeing to a false emergency visit, and Nick arrives at a gym to find Charles and Nick preparing to fight a fencing duel to the death.

Nick refuses to let the duel go ahead, and persuades the men to drop their weapons, only for Betty (who has found Charles' farewell note) to enter in panic, accidentally knocking into Charles who stumbles and stabs Victor in the back of the foot.

At the hospital, Nick persuades Betty to talk to the men, and Betty agrees to end the feud herself by telling Charles that contrary to what he believes, her marriage to Victor actually broke up because she, not he, had several affairs.

Victor took the blame to save her honour, and to save Charles from the shame of having a promiscuous sister. This time, when Victor again asks Betty to remarry him, Charles doesn't object.

She tells Jimmi the truth about Tony's business and persuades him to go with her to find him. Before they can track him down, Tony is cornered by loan shark Paul Strong, but the stray dog comes to his rescue.

Jimmi and Miss Barnett arrive just as the dog starts barking, picking up on the signs that Tony is about to have a hypoglycaemic attack. Looks like quite a good week. It'll be good to see Elizabeth with a love interest!!! It might even make her crack a smile.

V sad about Peter committing suicide though. I bet Mac will be racked with guilt.
