Charlotte Church to host Channel 4 show

Charlotte Church is reportedly being lined up to host a Friday night chat show for Channel 4.

The show will apparently feature a mix of comedy and celebrity chat, and will air on Friday evenings.

Channel 4 boss Kevin Lygo said: "Charlotte is still only 20 years old but she has a connection to the public that few people have.

"It would be wonderful to have Charlotte Church doing a fun show on a Friday night."

The show will not be Church's first foray into presenting - the Welsh singer appeared as a guest presenter on quiz show Have I Got News For You when she was only 17.

I don't think you could call reading an autocue (with punch lines written for you) presenting - like she did on HIGNFY - is there no limit to what these people will do to get on tv.

how many more people are going to start chatshows. in the end there will be nobody to chat too cause they will all be doing their shows

Do we really want to see peopel talking to celebs all day about what they've been up to? How about they make some interesting tv instead

she aint connecting with me either. Why is the only origional thing tv can put on is chat shows. I hate them. I think listening to an episode of Richard and Judy or Davina is a great form of torture.
