Two bouncers at Kanye West's Birmingham gig were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds last night (February 28).
The gig at the city's NEC was the fifth and final show on the rapper's UK tour and a number of fans were attempting to enter the venue without tickets. Security staff were attempting to lead them away when the shootings occurred.
A police spokesman told NME.com: "This incident involved individuals who had been ejected from the venue for attempting to try to gain entrance to a pop concert without tickets.
"Firearms were discharged and two stewards were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
A woman and a man have been arrested for the shooting. One of the bouncers has been discharged from hospital, whilst the other is currently being treated for non life-threatening injuries after being shot in the face, stomach and foot.
