I have a question when two celeb's get married and have a baby- who secord name does the baby have. Tess Daly and Vernon Kay does there baby take her mummy second name or her daddy secord name? :searchme:

my friends baby has his name but they didn't register him until he was a few weeks old. do you know if that's ok or is the baby's mother lying to him.

Nowaday it is done for you and whatever last name you had when you made the hospital appointment that is what your baby gets. I had trouble changing over to my boyfriends last name cause I was still legally married and in Ireland, family law states that all kids born in a marriage is legally the fathers regardless if you have been living apart for years and he is not the dad

im guessing in tess and vernons case it would be in vernons surname as they are married. Tess just uses her old surname as that is what everyone is used to caling her.
