Pancake Day!

Happy pancake day everybody! I hope you have all had a great day! This is a board where you can, talk about pancakes, or share your past experiences on this day! Anyone stuck a pancake o the ceiling before?

hey! my mum won't let us flip pancakes incase we drop them (she has a phobia of mess or something :S) and we discovered the lemon was out of date just before we tucked in so i had to run to the co- op to get some. but not being tall, i couldn't see the lemon juice on the shelf :(

Yay pancake day :D I only had 1 today though :( I flipped it though :D and I didn't drop it or stick it to the ceiling so I was happy :D

I didn't have any as I am a good girl.far too fattening,as I eat them with sugar, lemon and mixed fruit. Also its not the same without my mum and dad,we would all have fun tossing them,and eating so many we would feel sick :rotfl:

I had four! :D OK, I'm a greedy pig :p But who cares? I loved them! I had two with chocolate spread, and two with sugar and lemon! I normally have 5 or 6 :p I love Pancake Day, it is the best day of the year! :cheer:

Why not? :p Come on, a day where you can eat load of sugar and chocolate and yummy pancakes, and then the next day is the start of lent so you can get rid of all the weight you've gained! :p It's the perfect day! And it always will be, don't deny it ... you love it too! :p

what are breakfast pancakes? how do they differ from normal one? I had major cravings for pancakes on charley. I was up at 2am cooking them

I was up at 2am cooking themBasically the same, but you whisk the egg white first, so they rise slightly and hold their nice round shape when you cook them and are light and airy. I have to do loads of them on a sunday, to make sure there are enough to go round.

Hiya! I had 4 pancakes! All with syrup! They were very nice!

i had 5 pancakes and before you say that im a pig, we didnt have any dinner! instead we had 3 savoury pancakes with cheese and veg in and then 2 sweet ones - i had one with sugar and lemon and one with peaches, maple syrup, sugar and squirty cream, yum! :D

I had 8 with different stuff on them ranging from chocolate sauce strawberry sauce maple syrup and golden syrup. The last one was horrible it was strawberry sauce and grated chocolate YUK!! never do that its not nice

We never really have pancakes except on Pancake Day because my dad can't be bothered to make them any other day! :lol: There are the little scoth ones from shop, but they just ain't the same really :(

Mmm, I love pancakes! I like lemon and sugar usually but last night my mum heated some syrup, you've never lived unless you've had hot golden syrup dripping from your crepe :p

lol annaz. Has anyone ever had them from France? I went to Lourdes and there was a man always selling them on a stall! I named him... The Pancake Man! lol
