Footballers' Wives latest signing Phina Oruche, who stars as the glamorous :rolleyes: Liberty Baker in ITV's glitzy drama, is temporarily transferring to The Bill.
She is to play the role of high flying hotshot solicitor Heather Lees, whose straight-laced attitude is challenged by cheeky DS Phil Hunter. It isn't long, however, before she falls victim to his charms.
Of her latest role, Phina said: “The Bill is a benchmark of success for me. Since I am a British girl, I grew up longing to work on something like The Bill. I am ecstatic beyond belief. Even wilder than that, it fits like a glove. They are a funny talented bunch here; I wish I could stay forever.”
The scenes will be on air at the beginning of April.
