Footballers’ Wives Series 5 - Episode 7
Written by Roxanne Harvey directed by Martin Hutchings and produced by Cameron Roach
Tanya’s (Zoe Lucker) victorious; she’s won the battle with Eva so now has lover boy Paulo (Jay Rodan) all to herself and to celebrate their union they are hosting a Brazilian Fiesta, in their brand new home.
Meanwhile, blind Roger (Jesse Birdsall) is struggling to cope with his disability and Jackie’s (Gillian Taylforth) frustrated watching him crash about hurting himself. But Roger’s upbeat – he’ll remain at Earls Park if Garry can find him another job, as a blind coach isn’t much use!
Trisha (Angela Ridgeon) returns home tanned and completely cured of cancer and gushing about Lourdes. But Shannon (Sarah Barrand) is suspicious, why do all her duty free fags have Spanish labels?
Bruno’s (Ben Richards) been promoted to team manager. But his promotion is a nail in Roger’s coffin, so Jackie sets off to confront Garry (Nicholas Ball) as it’s about time he respected others. She believes her hubby Roger deserves some dignity after his loyalty to Earls Park. But when Garry gets Jackie in his clutches he spikes her drink so all mentions of dignity are lost as Jackie makes a true ass of herself.
Trisha is reduced to stealing some files to prove her cancer. But Shannon’s cunning leak to a journalist might just stitch her up for good.
With Tre (Chucky Venice) missing from her life, Liberty’s (Phina Oruche) coke habit has soared out of control and her nose is starting to pack in. But despite her problems there is nothing she wants more than Tre back, but will Tre have her?
The Fiesta kicks off carnival style and everyone is pleased the boss Garry has stayed away.
There is fun all around but when green eyed Paulo spots young Callum with Tanya he sees red and it’s not a pretty picture. What has Tanya got herself into?
Bruno’s delight at hearing about Lucy’s pregnancy soon turns sour when he realises she’s planning to terminate it. Will he stop her in time?
Late at night as the party is in full swing Roger takes a taxi to visit Garry at his office – he needs to sort out his future. But his plan tragically backfires when he is dropped like a stone.
