Happy birthday Soapboards!
Feb 23rd 2005 was the first day that the first post was made on Soapboards by an admin called Spud (remember him anyone?!). Since then, our membership has grown to almost 7000 so big thanks to all those that have helped make soapboards a success. There's too many of you to name but you all know who you are.
Here's to the next year!
Edit: Happy birthday to Hazey as well :)

happy birthday!!!! cant believe its been a year. thats so cool. i dont remember spud as i wasnt on here then i dont think, btu that must have been cool to have the first ever post!! just want to say soapboards is the best forum ive ever been on and i have enjoyed meeting new people (all know who you are :p)

I've only been here a month but I can tell that everyone really loves this place. Thank you to the mods who have kepted this site safe and a BIG thanks to NB!!!!! I hope that I'm here to enjoy sb's second birthday!

happy birthday soapboards!!! and hazey! i have to say i'm addicted to this board and i don't know where i would be without it! i have made so many friends and met so many people, its really nice!

I never knew when the soapboard started
but thanks to NB and the others mod for the board and happy birthday to the soapboard and Hazey and the other two people who birthday it is.. i have maded loads of friends- to another year

Happy birthday, and thanks to all the mods for keeping this a good place to discuss our views whatever they are! And I nearly joined it two weeks later as soon I knew that the BBC was closing its forums!!! But did not know that this was new, did it open to give all the BBC homeless a new home?

I joined excatly a year ago, so i have been here since the beginning, and my my hasn't it grown!
Thanks to all the mods, and of course to nb! (spud, i remember him ....?!?!)
This place is fab and i have loved it since my very first post!
Thanks to all of you older faces (as in the members who have been here since the beginning to) who made me feel welcome and at home!
i can't believe its been a year already, congrats and i hope there are many more soapboards birthdays to come
