According to the UK midweek single charts, Madonna's Sorry is on course for No.1, outselling other contenders, Westlife and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Madonna is not old, she is getting wiser. She is still reaching No 1 so she must be doing something good. The woman is amazing but I am totally bias.

I love Correne Bailey-Rae, she has the most amazing voice. So bit annoyed she ain't number one. But never mind, 2 is better than 3, so can't complain

I got her cd this weekend and I have it on everyday. the kids love it and it is really great dancing music. Madonna is back on top form after her disastrous American life albumn

but the american life album i know the songs are very much like dido(funeral music, slit your wrist music) but i liked that album i thought it was fab i cant understand why it didnt do well

I dont think Madonnas ever done anything I dont like. she is the most versatile singerr around - the way she can re-invent herself to fit in with whatever music is popular is amazing. I honestly think it takes something special to be around this long and keep producing new different sounds. Look at Oasis - they came back after a break singing the same old stuff from before. Not that it isnt good - but will they still be here in 20 years?
