Coronation Street's Bradley Walsh a.k.a Danny Baldwin has quit the show according to The Sun newspaper today. The actor is to leave after his contract runs out in April. Bosses wanted to sign him up for eighteen months.

A ITV insider said 'Negotiations are ongoing but the bottom line is that he will be leaving soon. He is happy to stay for six months as he knows that it will take that time for a good exit storyline to be written.'

It's rumoured that he is to take up a ITV chat show. He is to leave Coronation Street in October.

I wonder who will run the factory with Mike dying may be he will dump leanne while she is pregnant and that will be his exit story

Has for Danny i wonder where he will go and how will Leanne and Frankie take the news that he is going.

Jane Danson is pregnant in real life so maybe they could leave together. i hope this means Adam comes back can you imagine Corrie with no Baldwins.

i didnt think he would be leaving so soon if he does leave then it would fit in with janes maternity leave roughly wouldnt it? well they could leave together to start a new life somewhere else before leanne has the baby imagine the stick they would get off frankie and jamie so who could blame them for leaving them after jane returns she could just say that her and danny wasnt working or danny was unfaithful etc and return to les or janice with the baby in tow

Thanks for that. I hope both Danny and Frankie both stay on. They are both fantastic characters and they haven't ran out of steam quite yet. Do you know if Danny has accepted this golden handcuff deal?

so he is staying now ?? ... i would of thought him and maybe adam would come back and run the factory together ? or maybe mike leaves it to someone in his will ? its going to be well said when he dies :( the factory was like his life !
