View Full Version : Converting Files To DVD
Hiya wondered if you could help me
ive got loads of MPEG videos...and whenever i try to copy them to dvd...no matter what programme i use or what discs i use they will not copy to dvd
copyright is not an issue as i havent got them from dvds they are from the net, so any ideas as to why it isnt working and how i can fix it would be greatly appreciated
Try thiscd creator 8 (http://www.roxio.co.uk/products/emc_suite/index.jhtml?ccid=google&o_e25=Paid%20Search&gclid=CMauy4nZqoMCFRe_EAodqGEbKg)

ive used nero and to no use... the fact that so many discs and programmes are not allowing me to do this there must be something wrong

Are they too big to fit on the DVD? How are you trying to burn them (what mode)
ive got some of the files bb is talking about - im going to try and burn one tomorrow and see if that works - would it being an AVI thats stopping it
Nah, that can't stop it. Might be a dodgy DVD writer
thats all i need to have a dodgy writer!
well ive tried all different combinations of videos to get them to disc but no matter how few or many i put on it wont work... im baffled...
well i'll try as soon as i get from goldfish shopping lol
nb i think your rigth about writers, as i couldnt copy to cd or dvd
ive transfered the files via memory stick to the downstairs comp where its allowing me to copy to cd...sadly it hasnt got a dvd re writer so i can only put 2 episodes per cd... which is going to take up a lot of space, but it isnt that bad... as each cd only costs 10p (10 quid for 100 cds)
well ive tried it now and was able to do it - so sorry bb think it might be your computer
