It was a good episode tonight. Amy's pregnancy is really dragging on now, it just can't be taken seriously! Surely a bump would be showing by now to indicate she's pregnant?! I liked it last night on how she's trying to put on weight with eating lots of chocolate and drinking fizzy drinks, it showed some good realism there but it really is dragging on!

Clare was using her crocodile tears again! I just wish Max could see through her act!

Good episodes last week. Clare was on top form as always with her scheming. Loved the part where she started dancing around to voodoo child ignoring Max in the background LMAO. Loving it Clare, just lovin' it!! :D The students were good aswell.. really liking this storyline with Will, he looks set to be the next big villain of the show. :D

Why on earth did Sasha take the blame for Justin tonight. she must be mad. And where's Justin getting the money from for the drugs anyway??

yeh i know, if i was sasha i wouldnt take the blame for him, and if i was calvin i wouldnt believe sasha either. im thinking maybe liz sends money up to justin and as hes not paying rent hes using the money to buy drugs? neville was well mean when he wouldnt sell that max mission to dom, and tom was cute all epi again as per usual lol! :D

It was a good episode tonight, love Will's scheming as usual! I can't believe Sasha is taking the blame for Justin either, she really shouldn't! She really doesn't know what he's like, she'll regret taking the blame eventually unless Calvin knows she is lying to protect Justin. I don't think Calvin would believe Sasha, Justin's more of a rebel than she is.

I cant believe sasha covered for that lttle Rat Justin. Stupid girl.

thought Nancy was good Justin deserves a punch.

Katy

he makes me want to hit the telly.

Thought the Dom scenes were good as well. Hopw your tell freezes in the middle of Doctor Who.

nice one Jake. I cant believe the little rat managed to escape. That Will is really creepy. I cant believe he deiliberatly burnt Zac and then tried to help him. Hes so vile/

Chris_2k11
16-12-2006, 13:56
Where the hell has all this Justin crap come from?! Are we really supposed to believe Jake would risk a prison sentence to help his cheating wife who a few weeks ago he couldn't stand the sight of. Don't make me laugh :thumbsdow It's completely out of character.

Not impressed Hollyoaks. :nono:

Katy
16-12-2006, 13:59
i did think that. It would have been more believable if it was Warren after that 100 quid he knicked. Its more in character. I agree Jake isnt believable. It was nice though seeing him tied up.

Katy

Nicole the little witch she made out Becca was nothing like how it was. I thikn Nancy turned it though. I cant wait till the verdict tonight. I thiknk thje filming of the court scenes have been brilliant. All the different camera shots at different angles.

DaVeyWaVey
20-12-2006, 22:18
A great few episodes of Hollyoaks, some great courtroom drama! I thought Nancy's speech was great when she took the stand. I agree that Nicole tried to make out that Becca was the guilty one in the whole situation, she didn't help when she took the stand! I can't believe Becca was found guilty and then she went into labour! The poor woman! I hope Justin tells the truth now! :(

I also think that John Paul should tell Hannah how he truly feels, Tina was right by what she said. The longer he leaves it, the worse it will become.

Katy
21-12-2006, 10:22
absolutley gutted that Becca got found guilty. I agree about JP and Hannah, he really should tell her how she feels. As for Justin the lying little toad best tell the truth.

Katy
22-12-2006, 14:46
aww, it was so sad yesterday when Becca got taken away, i thought it was a bit soon. Justin is so vile. Becca looked so helpless. I think John Paul did the right thing, it was difficult for him as Hannah was behavin glike a child. It doesnt help that Craig is on at him all the time. I think Michaela is going to be let down for some reason. Her father doesnt look that nice.

*-Rooney-*
22-12-2006, 14:57
theres something strange about that jp though sure he may not be into hannah like romentically but he didnt need to embarass her in front of craig and sarah like that when she mentioned seeing him on christmas, i mean dont all couples see each other at one point of the day or the other. i think he either likes someone else or is gay

prob gay because everytime hes near hannah he looks like hes repulsed (just an observation though)

Abbie

So has she named her baby Charlie?

Not being at Uni is bad for me - I just don't get round to watching Hollyoaks!

We watch the 6.30 episode and then first look at 7pm (sometimes 8pm on E4+1)

I was disappointed that it was only Tom's coat in the lake!

27-12-2006, 19:05
Absolutely fanastic, what an episode! Hollyoaks certainly know how to pull off some good drama :cheer: I was cheering at the tv when OB smacked Clare! :cheer: I hope Max is gonna survive but I seriously doubt it :( Loved all the scenes in the pub, they mixed in well with all the drama. Loved it all, well done Hollyoaks. You've proved yourself a top soap this year :)

Katy
27-12-2006, 19:10
so was i chris, i thought she was going to be pushed into the lake but seeing OB punch her was miles better. It was absolutly cracking drama from Hollyoaks from start to finish. I didnt know what she was going to do next. Not only the claire story but the rest of the epsode didnt let it down either. What was craig doing hitting John Paul the loser :thumbsdow . He just sat there looking like the green eyed monster. I felt sorry for Jake as well, hes just one of lifes losers. Cant wait till tomorrows episode.

Chris_2k11
27-12-2006, 19:22
Not only the claire story but the rest of the epsode didnt let it down either.Yeah I agree, it wasn't like it only got exciting in about the last 5 minutes, it was great all the way through. Even the scenes with Becca were decent.

Nice seeing Jacqui again too.

Nice seeing Jacqui again too.

I forgot about Jacqui i t was nice seeing her again. I think she could be the one that will help Becca inside. It was really emotional at times.
Like the phone call home to her mum, and sasha talking about her mum.
Tom is still the best actor in it

i missed the end part with max in the pond cos of my stupid dinner! but i agree that the parts i saw were really good. maxs face when he realised there were nothing in the pills and when clare was being really mean to tom :( cant believe no one would believe ob

Katy
28-12-2006, 11:02
they will be sorry now as i they didnt believe him. I laughed when he got Tonys car keys. Does no one else own a car in an emergency.

You mean you missed OB punching Claire. That was the best bit of the whole year. I assume all the viewers would have cheered like i did. It was very well done though i agree. THe end was really good as well. I dont think it looks good for Max as it ended with this sad music not the theme tune and the credits just came up the side when the paramedics were putting things on Max, then it ended it. It was really effective.

yeh i know, i missed the best bit, hoping to catch it on the omnibus (im presuming its still on seeing as its new years eve?) i came back in just as the credits were coming up, it was just on a black screen wasnt it so i thought ok so max has died :( i really hope he hasnt but its looking like he has. hope clare pays for what shes done, dont know how she can get out of it really

who cares about the episode!!! Ob punched claire :cheer:

and it seems another Hollyoaks classic looks like his gonna hit the bricks soon but I have to say another year like this and hollyoaks will be one of the top soaps over eastenders I dare say.2007 looks great for us hollyoaks fans -now all we ask is for 'in the city' to return to our screens

Katy
28-12-2006, 16:10
It definalty looks a good year for Hollyoaks. I hope they get recognition for this. Its even appealing to the older generation as my mum has got all her friends into it.

Hes still alive. There were bits in last nights episodes when i thought he would be better of dead. I thought that Max still believeing Claire i wanted it to smother him myself. THat christmas list of Tom was so sweet. Finally Max and OB have made it up. :cheer: . I felt really sorry for Hannah, i didnt think i would but i did, i thought that she was all alone on news years having a binge  , It was horrible. As for Louise choosing Warren :thumbsdow It should be Calvin all the way  ,

yeah i agree. It was really well done. The whole Max story was really good.

I think Warren will be after Calvins blood if he finds out it was him who stitched him up, or just generally nicking his date.

Yeh he wll but then again I reallt dont ike warren so I hope Calvin is ok or 'wins' if you can call it that.

Katy
30-12-2006, 18:16
yeah i do as well. Calvin is the nicer of the two. Its odd as when the two were in dream team, i dint think much to Ryan (calvin) and i preferred Alex ( Warren). So it must just be the hatred for the character coming through. It shows that there good actors though.

di marco
31-12-2006, 09:27
im glad max and ob are friends again, even if it is just for toms sake. it was sad in the hospital when ob was telling max how he blames him for mel dying (or something like that). and i cant believe the police let clare go, her excuse about tom being locked in the car was so pathetic!

Katy
31-12-2006, 10:41
I thought that too, but she had been kept in for the amount of time alowwed so as no new evidence came to light they had to let her go.

She better get whats coming to her,do you think the police would talk to Tom, cos it would be scary for a young child.

di marco
31-12-2006, 21:09
do you think the police would talk to Tom, cos it would be scary for a young child.

im not sure, probably not cos hes probably too young, and although he knows what went on, clare was so mean to him that he might not tell the truth cos he could be scared of what she could do to him

Good point about him being scared but its just i think he is one of the best witnesses to this whole thing, and if they were to kinda interview him wouldnt they do it in another room where he would feel comfortable, sorry I cant really describe what I mean.

Katy
01-01-2007, 18:47
They could still call him as a witness though, as psychology studies have found that children do rememver experiences even if they are painful and traumatic. I dont think hollyoaks really pay much atention to the OCR sylabus of ALevel psychology though.

Katy
03-01-2007, 15:50
That looks like the end for Foz and Nancy. Its really sad my heart went out to her at the end.

Gilly watching Gio Kingladzi on Cityss greatest goals was funny especially when he said thats what ill call my son, and tania said what Georgi and he said no Kingladzi. bit unfortunate if he did as he nickname was Kinky.

I also thought Rys was a right pig, why cant he accept that Tania actually liked Gilly not him,the selfish rat.

Cant beilieve Suzanne thinks Nevilles an escort, how shell have a shock when she finds out who it really is. I am actully really grwoing on the Ashworths as a family.

Katy
04-01-2007, 12:51
Gilly and Suzanne were so funny in the pub. Glad Tania left leaving Gilly behind. He is so my favourite character. Craig and Sarah need to get a room. harsh in front of Hannah as well. Finally Calvin and Louise got it together.

Katy
06-01-2007, 10:53
Wheres everybody gone.

Last nights episode was good, i thought it was a bit Harsh of Craig to finish with Sarah. Hannah is being rather childish i have to admit. Hopefully shell grow up. I felt really sorry for JP. He was trying so hard to open up and no would let him get a word in.

honmestly how much of a plank is Tony. As if Tina would be having an affair with Mike. but who has given who crabs.

Footie_Chick
11-01-2007, 13:11
Tina has got crabs through wearing her sisters clothes, it can be transmitted through that and sleeping in the same bed sheets thats why Dom's got it aswell.

Though JP was good last night the way he looked after Craig when the Sonny was having ago. Kris and Jessica storyline is intresting, they both really like each other you can so tell.

I have really enjoyed Hollyoaks lately. I am really enjoying the JP/Craig storyline..JP couldn't have made it clearer to Craig that he had feelings for him! It was good when JP protected Craig from Sonny and Justin last night, Craig's got a really good friend in John Paul.

I feel sorry for Hannah though, she is totally besotted with JP and she is going to get hurt again when the truth comes out about who JP really feels for.

Abbie

Cant believe it was mummy mcqueen who was the carrier of the crabs. Glad dom and Tina are back together, they are so sweet together. It was really sad seeing Becca handing over the baby to Jake.

Warren the prat, can he not tell hes in the way. Cant believe Mercedes has slept with someone else all ready. Its only been 5 minutes since she split with Russ. Honestly.

Thought the DNA scenes were good.

Louise and Calvin were funny :D

23-01-2007, 19:46
i was watching tonights episode (tues) and thinking if claire changed the locks in the flat, and the flat was max's could he have her arrested for criminal damage or something.

i really hope she gets whats coming to her soon, she is a total bitch!!!!!

Shes absoulty brilliant. I couldnt believe she changed the locks. Just when you thought she couldnt get any worse.

DaVeyWaVey
24-01-2007, 20:20
I enjoyed tonight's episode. I thought Clare couldn't get more evil, but she has sank to new levels, and she just gets more evil by the episode! How long can she get away with it for?! Poor Max...he's been through a lot and him getting arrested for assault like that! I hope he's found innocent.

The same goes for Will too...hasn't anyone realised what games he's been up too?! How long can he get away with fooling all the other students?!

I enjoyed everything else too...the John Paul/Hannah stuff was good...i feel for both of them at the moment, John Paul for lying to Hannah and pretending to be in love with Hannah when he actually isn't...he is just trying his best to make her happy and hide away his true feelings, and Hannah because she is so in love with John Paul, and she is going to be heartbroken when she finds out the truth.

Katy
26-01-2007, 16:49
Blimey JP went a bit mental didnt he when he found out Hannah had rated him. It will be interesting to see the result of that argument. Kriss ont he radio was really good as well, but that Will is so Vile.

27-01-2007, 16:23
Great episode last night, just had to watch the e4 first look episode, which was a bit of a let down, but I loved last nights episode on channel 4, it will be intresting to see how the John Paul/ Craig relationship develops in coming weeks.

Katy
27-01-2007, 16:29
I know what a party, eventful Hannah wont forget it in a long time. Josh was funny singing that song, i also think Fletch is developing nicely as a character. I am really warminh to the Ashworths, i really hated them at first and with the McQueens arrival they were quite overshadowed but there getting good again. Rhys is a prat.

DaVeyWaVey
28-01-2007, 13:12
Just caught the omnibus today and what an amazing set of episodes! I loved the parts with Hannah/John Paul/Craig/Sarah. My favourite storyline in Hollyoaks at the moment. When John Paul told Craig he loved him, it was brilliant acting. Craig looked gobsmacked and you could tell John Paul really meant what he was saying when he was muttering whilst crying.

I feel sorry for both Hannah and John Paul. When Hannah finds out she's going to be heartbroken, whilst JP will have to deal with everyone finding out that it's Craig who he really loves. When John Paul shouted at Hannah that she made "his skin crawl" i felt so sorry for Hannah, you could see how hurt she was, but John Paul couldn't help it as he couldn't bottle up his feelings any longer.

I can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Katy
30-01-2007, 15:51
I cant believe John Paul is going to pretend. I think it will catch him up eventually. I thought the scenes where Craig wanted them to still be friends were really good. They both acted really well. Josh really should not listen to advice of Rhys.

DaVeyWaVey
30-01-2007, 21:56
John Paul can't keep pretending, he is in love with Craig and being with Hannah can't disguise that forever. Watching today's episode, Craig clearly is concerned for Hannah. Craig knows that John Paul loves him and that he's gay and he doesn't want Hannah to get hurt.

I thought the scenes in yesterday's episode was really good. I was surprised by Craig's reaction, he seemed understanding over the situation that his best mate fell in love with him and i thought it was touching when John Paul said he was going to leave but Craig told him he wanted him to stay. These two have a really good bond with each other.

Katy
31-01-2007, 17:15
You can tell already it is getting to JP, the way he is with Hannah. It seems shes becoming rather obsessed with her weight, when she was reading the magazine article to JP and his ideal woman was Paris hilton. I also thought that Josh and AMy were really sweet together in the shop. Cant believe Justin drove off with Baby Charlie in the backseat.

Bless Jacqui, sticking up for her little brother. I thought the scenes between Myra and John Paul were really good. I thought Suzanne were a bit out of order due to telling Myra like that. She was feisty when she were telling the clan to go HOME NOW !!. Hannahs getting a tad irrtating, i can see how she may think JP turned gay because of her/ It was quite sad at the end when myra was crying secretly.

Hollyoaks is great at the moment, easily the best soap on the box. Absolutely loving Jacqui, I know she often comes across as a hard faced cow at times but deep down she's got a heart of gold! :) The way she was with JP about him coming out and also the friendship between her and Becca in prison. Definitely my favourite character right now.

Long live Jacqui!

Another great few episodes of Hollyoaks. Jacqui is now my new favourite McQueen. She really does have a heart of gold underneath that 'gobby' streak. The way she was with Becca was really touching...she really made a great friend in her, and it was really nice that Jacqui said she made a friend for life. :)

I also liked the way she was with John Paul after he came out. She just naturally brushed it off, and it wasn't a big deal for her. It was great how she kneed Justin in the groin too...she really does have a caring side.

Poor, poor exit for one of Hollyoaks' longest standing characters. The whole fight scene was totally rushed and the stab scene was cringeworthy. I normally like it when they use the special credits but on this occasion they made no difference at all. There was just no feeling to the whole thing. Terrible exit for Becca :thumbsdow

Good episode tonight. Liked the way it was all set at night. Louise was good kicking off about Justin, also thought the scenes with Kris were good. The guy who plays him actually isn't a bad actor at all and plays the part really well. Can't believe I actually enjoy all the scenes with the students nowadays   :D They're so much better than the last boring lot. Jess is great now too.

i have to say that hollyoaks is great at the moment (well it normally is) the storyline with becca everytime i saw nancy i was in tears especially in the scene where she was in her room crying and her friends came in then she totally broke down at the funeral and kicked everyone out (good for her)#

also im gld hollyoaks had another story running at the same time so it wasnt primerilary based on becca, I also enjoyed the hiv story very educational and emotional a typical story you would expect from hollyoaks health awareness, the dangers of life basically. i felt so sorry for kris, will is dangerous who knows what lenghts he can go to

Katy
24-02-2007, 19:44
I agree about Will he takes villain to a whole new level. I thought Fridays episdoe was good as well, poor Tony, he wasnt half dunped there, poor Jacqui as well, thought they would make a good couple. It obvioulsiy wernt meant to be. What was Jake thinking killing Juston on front of a cop, that would have worked well, well done Calvin as well, he could have had a murder in his front room.

lol, i thougth that to. I also thougth he looked diffrent to the Davey we saw before i remember him being a bit more convincing at the hard man. Hes not quite Warren. I dont get why Jacqui wont just tell Tony.

I watched the omnibus of this today, well most of it; before my mother turned over . Anywho, few questions..

What happend Friday, as I think that's the episode I missed.

Who plays the brother of Sasha? The younger one.. as I think I've seen him before?

What's happening with the whole Claire thing.. last I heard from a friend, she tried to kill Max or something?? Iunno, but I'm confused, as to why she's working at The Loft.

Anywho, on the episodes front, I really enjoyed it. I hadn't seen it since Mandy's baby died I think. Not sure. I really liked the Amy/Josh and her dad scenes. Good acting all round there I think, personally. Couldn't help feel sorry for Amy.

Didn't like Sarah is it? The one that made Justin move out.. what's her deal. Does Calvin not know she and Warren slept together then? Does she really love Calvin? (I ask, as maybe it's been noticed by some of you :D).

Anywho, that's all for now

Sasha's brother (Sonny) is played by Devon Anderson. He played Billy Jackson in EastEnders.

Friday's episode - Clare seduced Justin. Darren blackmailed Steph into helping him with a "charity" event at The Dog. Josh's mum finds out that it was Mike that hit Josh.

The Clare situation - Max had had a heart attack after taking drugs (he caught Warren and Clare using them and tried them cos he wanted Clare to think we was exciting - or something like that). He went on medication but Clare tampered with them and he never actually recieved the medicine he needed to get better. At Christmas she took Max and Tom to a remote location and pretended to Max that Tom had falled into an icy lake, when in fact she had locked Tom in the car. Max almost died but OB managed to save him. Clare was interviewed by the police but let go. She disappeared for a while but came back to get her hands on Max's money.

She threatened Max and eventually he gave in and gave her The Loft on condition that was all she got.

It's Louise you are talking about here - the one that made Justin move out. No, Calvin doesn't know she and Warren slept together.

*-Rooney-*
01-04-2007, 17:28
mike is getting a little overprotective and paranoid though. i wonder when the true parentage of baby leah will come out, its got to come out or the story would never have been done in the first place plus too many people know now: the family, michaela, sasha, susanne oh and the dad billy.

wouldnt that be interesting if amy and josh bumped into billy and he mentioned her being pregnant

CrazyLea
01-04-2007, 18:23
Oh right, so do people think that Leah is Amy's sister? Doesn't Josh know?

Katy

Josh still thinks its Amys sister no one knows but Michaela and the family. Also from previous posts Devon anderson (sonny ) was also in Kerching more recently.

Its been good, cant believe Mike hit Josh thought that really surprised me.

tammyy2j
02-04-2007, 13:58

Mike is becoming over protective but i guess when his youngest child has a baby on the kitchen floor then maybe he is allowed to

*-Rooney-*
02-04-2007, 18:50
yea joshs mum knows leah is really amys baby and not kathys because she found out about her being pregnant after amy was hurt in the car crash. thats pretty much the reason why she doesnt want amy near her son as she sees amy as a bad influence

Katy

Suzannes pretty feisty as well but Kathy still holds the award for mother from hell. Gilly made me laugh yesterday, that season ticket. It was when he said to Josh his advice was too words. I am starting to get really, really, really fed-up with the story line surrounding Amy and her baby. The things that Amy does are just ludicrous, and I am seriously starting to think that the girl who plays her is the worst actress I've ever known. For example - the episode where Amy pawned the necklace that her Dad got her, and had food with Josh in Il Gnosh (it rhymes! :p). The whole ep was pretty stupid (well, the bits with her in them, anyway), but I think the scene that made me cringe the most was when she asked for a bottle of 'fizzy'. That ridiculous baby voice she adopted to ask for it was just irritating and silly, and I find the idea that a 15 year old girl, especially one who is pretty well-known in the village, so everyone knows she's underage, and who looks about twelve, would actually believe that she could get away with ordering a bottle of wine just outrageous.

It's such a shame, because I think this storyline could actually be quite interesting, if Hollyoaks:

A) Got better actors (Amy mainly, but also Kathy - and that's just this story line!).
B) Stopped it from dragging on, and on, and on, and onnn...
C) Stopped putting in unbelievable scenes like that.

It's no wonder Hollyoaks is such a lowly-rated soap, and, again, I think it's such a shame because they do have some good story lines, and it is quite a unique and modern soap. :searchme:

Katy
09-04-2007, 11:30
I understand where your coming from but i just Love Hollyoaks so just see past the bad actors, i still think Sarah is worse though.

Thats the only bad thing with Hollyoaks the storys do drag on, i mean Home and Away things are cleared up in a week or an episode even, which is good viewing in my opinion. However Hollyoaks has humour especielly recently when the McQueens have come, and they have the Villains in Will, Claire and Warren, so there are good points to balance out the bad. But you do have a point. I agree.

The last episode was amusing though, especially Mercedes and sonny. I also think mummy mcqueen is brilliant as well.

DaVeyWaVey
09-04-2007, 11:41
The Mercedes/Sonny part was really funny! It shows how strong they are as a family unit as none of the McQueens will allow anyone to mess with them.

I actually like how the storylines drag on - it may be boring, but i think it's a lot more realistic.

Katy
09-04-2007, 11:46
yeah thats a point i havent thought of it like that. Like you have to have a pregnancy for nine months otherwise its just silly, but there is a limit. Hopefully the end of the story will be good and make up for some of the boring parts.

Katy
12-04-2007, 08:53
darren is such an idiot, i cant understand why Zac can'y get a girlfriend, hes quite cute especially with that scouse charm.

Do not get me started on Hannah, How pathetic was she. I hope she has'nt ruined John Paul and Spikes friendship, because of her pathetic ways.

laurouski
12-04-2007, 21:31
I actually like how the storylines drag on - it may be boring, but i think it's a lot more realistic.

Obviously it's better for some story lines - as Katy said, something like a pregnancy has got to go on for a while to make it feasible - but sometimes HO just lets the story lines drag on and on unnecessarily.

Like Kathy trying to mother baby Leah, for one thing. It's such a weak story line that the more it drags on the more unconvincing it gets. As I have said, the actors are so bad that they cannot get away with all the attention they are getting. I find it pretty stupid the way they get Kathy to take control over the baby, put in a few eps featuring Amy almost getting close to her, only to have Kathy snatch her away, with Mike and Sarah protesting; and then, the next week, Kathy's never there, Amy doesn't care at all, Sarah's not particularly bothered any more and Mike's only too happy to take care of the baby!

I'm not saying I think the story line should be over in a week, I just think they need to adjust the continuity, and to either not feature the Barnes family at all or to stop switching focus between the row over the baby's carers and the row over Josh.

With a story line like the one involving Will and Zoe, it's OK letting it drag on a bit, but with a story line like the one involving Amy and her baby, it's just unrealistic. I mean, even the Max and Clare story line is getting a bit dragged out. Suddenly, apart from the money troubles, Max seems to have completely forgotten that Clare ever existed, and still does - and is running his club that she stole from him, practically opposite his flat.

Another big flaw of HO, apart from the actors, is, like I said, the continuity.

But that's just my opinion. :searchme:

Katy

The couples night was funny last night, especially jacqui and aleksander.

Watched the omnibus earlier, good week! lmao how funny was it when Myra got the wrong end of the stick about Jake and Carmel

Myra - "Do you wanna cuppa tea?"
Jake - "Oh go on then, i'm spitting feathers here. Been at it the best part of 2 hours!"
Myra - :rotfl:

lmao she's so funny. Then when she was talking to Carmel about him been married, "Becca's dead love, god rest her soul!" :rotfl:

Carmel - "Becca?" :D

The Will stuff has been great, feel quite sorry for Zoe, he's such a phycho with all these games.. you can tell Zak's suspicious though. Can't wait till it all comes out, the students are really good at the moment. The stuff with Nancy and the pills was good aswell. A disappointing week in Hollyoaks. The climax of the Will story failed to meet my expectations, a daft little struggle on the roof and thats it  :thumbsdow I hope there's another twist or something. Zak has been quite good though. Don't like Warren's sister.. can't take to her at all, her voice puts me right off. Sonny and Michaela still a bit boring. Rest of the McQueens - (Myra especially) fabulous as ever :)

I agree about the climax to the Will storyline Chris, i thought it could have been a lot more explosive and dramatic than it was. It was nothing really that exciting, and for a storyline that has dragged on for a little while, i was hoping for something a bit better. I did like it when he was being interviewed by the psychiatrist though, and how he was trying to turn things on Zoe. I thought Zoe leaving was very sudden and abrupt.

Also if you watched Monday's first look E4 episode last night, you would have been able to see that the Will storyline has been swept under the carpet very quickly

I actually really like Sonny and Michaela together, they make a good couple.

Katy
05-05-2007, 15:05
I thought it was a bit abrupt of her to leave so soon. Its a bit silly.

Michaela and Sonny getting arrested by Calvin was brilliant.

Plus i want a brother like Warren.

I agree, i was expecting so much more, I mean the idea of the storyline was so good and the way they were doing it was as well, but then just for it to end like that was kinda not interesting

I cannot stan the whole Justin Katy storyline, its so irritating. Its like i love you i hate you, oh dear Warrens back. Who cares.

I'm loving the Amy and Josh on the run storyline. The ashworths and the Barnes fighting is brilliant. I love it when they argue. Rhys and Mike.

Chris_2k11
30-05-2007, 14:38
I see old tart's back on the scene. well I suppose it had to happen sometime. I usually hate the Barnes but thought they were quite good last night with the Ashworths. First bit of decent drama i've seen in Hollyoaks for a while. Rhys needs a good a battering if you ask me, he gets right on my wick. Agree with you Katy about Justin and Katy, i mean who wants to watch these two snogging the face off each other while your eating your tea. yuck

Can I just add I thought Carmel was brilliant last week in the scenes with Jacqui and Aleksander saying how she thought she wasn't pretty enough and how she was the dumb one of the family etc. I thought she pulled off some good emotion and I actually really felt for her there.

Katy
31-05-2007, 10:03
i agree chris completley about Carmel, she's becomming one of my favourite characters. I think Ryhs should have been battered along time ago. They would be plenty of people wanting to do it.

Also Amy and Josh in that house with that Junkie was brilliant. I think maybe that will send them home.

Wedding shop scenes were hilarious with them all running down the high street. I was in stitches with Carmel, "this didn't happen in Pretty Women did it?" Classic! :D

Tonight's was great too. Couldn't stop laughing at Dannii walking out the McQueens covered in dinner :rotfl: Craig ought to be ashamed of himself using JP like that, Myra was hilarious at the juice place. Fab stuff yet again from Hollyoaks!

Katy
08-06-2007, 09:45
Myra getting barred from Mobs was brilliant. Me htink s SUzanne likes Noel more than shes letting on.

Craig is so using him. Its so out of order. I like John Paul.

Think Hannahs about to be knocked over the edge.

08-06-2007, 14:39
A decent episode last night. Loved everything about it and none of the scenes bored me in any way possible.

First of all, the John Paul and Craig stuff was as fantastic as usual. The chemistry between this pair are fantastic. John Paul and Spike lack chemistry in my opinion so their date scene, i felt was pretty weak but the Craig and John Paul scenes were superb. I loved John Paul and Craig's scenes up in the flat above the pub. Craig was clearly trying to let out how he really felt and tried to come to terms with what he was feeling, and he finally did tonight. The scene with them both in the bedroom near the end was fiery, and this whole episode was the climax to them sleeping together again. Fantastic acting from James Sutton and Guy Burnet. When Craig left the bedroom at the end, it looked like he accepted how he was really feeling.

I also enjoyed the Hannah stuff as her storyline is slowly starting to come to the forefront. She obviously hates the way she looks and is clearly very depressed about herself. She really does need help and support as she is starting to get in quite a depressive state but Suzanne is too upset over what's happening with Noel, so is dismissing her daughter and not giving her enough attention. I really liked the scene between Hannah and Myra though. Myra said some really kind words to Hannah, but unfortunately, i don't think this stops her from feeling the way she feels. I have the feeling that the actress playing Hannah will do this storyline justice, it's already becoming quite agonising to watch.

The Mercedes/Dannii/Russ storyline, I also liked watching. Mercedes showed her insecure and jealous side, by detesting over Dannii and Russ talking about their past. Mercedes suffered a moment of anger as her jealousy boiled over and she chucked lasagne all over Dannii's head! She clearly regretted it though as Russ and Dannii left and Mercedes now thinks she has lost him forever. It's nice that Myra was there to comfort her at the end.

It was nice that Max and OB were opening their business too. Obviously, this nice and happy scene had to be wrecked by Claire's arrival and her demand for money - Claire is such a bitch - what do Max and OB owe her?! Claire thinks she can make a victim out of both of them as she did before, but i hope she is proved wrong this time and Max and OB refuse to give her money!

A fantastic episode yesterday.

10/10

Hollyoaks is in good shape at the moment, enjoying all the stuff with the Ashworths, they now finally feel like part of the show at last! Gobsmacked by the acting from Rhys, he's actually not that bad afterall  They really need to tone Suzanne down a bit though, the actress is wayyy too OTT sometimes.

I really really hate what they've done to Mike, he's getting worse than his other half now. The stuff with Warren & Clare made the episode for me. When it was on my mam said to me "she wants to watch her back her" I said yeah your right there

Katy
16-06-2007, 15:50
iknow what you mean about Mike, hes completley changed since his little knock on the head. And not for the better. I also agree about CLaire i think shes brilliant. Its the constant phonecalling to grass people up. WArren had me in stitches when he was a bout to leave and they arrested him again, YOURE HAVING A LAUGH aret you. Kicking and screaming like a baby. It was great.

Clare has really sunk to new depths, that scene when she told Tom his germs killed Baby Grace and his Mommy and Daddy almost had me in tears (no exaggerations)

That is just pure evil! That scene has really sickened me, god I hate Claire even more now!

How fab was little Ellis in this episode? And Rachel Jordache from Brookie haha!

in the last week clare has been at her worst, thanks to her max has lost tom, louise and calvin have split , warren was held for murder of sean, she rubbed ob up the wrong way by saying if it wasnt for her mel and her sister would still be alive,
so the real question is: WHO REALLY DID IT

Katy

Louise looks pretty sorry for herself, she really cannot remember what happened that night. Clare finally getting a taste of her own medicine, when Max arrived it was a bit like Role reversal.

04-07-2007, 10:56
I really couldn't care about Sarah and her modelling career at the moment.

I think the stuff with Louise is good though. I think Roxanne McKee acted out her scenes really well yesterday when she was in the street confessing to Calvin she didn't know if she pushed Claire or not.

Nana McQueen seems like a colourful character, i loved the way she flirted with Russ at the Dog, then seen him at the McQueens afterwards. I hope she stays in Hollyoaks as she'll be a good older cast member.

I thought it was an average episode today.

The student stuff didn't really hold my interest but I think that Gilly and Jess get along well together. I liked how Gilly comforted Jess over her money worries and I think a romance could possibly be on the cards for them? Darren/Zak stuff was ok. I liked how Darren seemed to show some care towards Zak, as he didn't want to hurt him if he started dating Zoe. It was quite nice at the end when he said that Zoe wasn't his type and decided to stick being best mates with Zak, instead of causing a rift between them if he started going out with Zoe.

The Tom/Max stuff were the best parts of the episode. It was great to see them both finally reunited and it was refreshing that Claire decided to tell the truth for a change instead of lie. Her confrontation with Max at the end made good viewing and it was nice to see Max stand up to Claire and show that he was no longer scared of her.

The Louise/Warren scene was good. I liked how Warren tried to keep up Louise's spirits by saying that she didn't have it in her to push Claire and how he would say that he did it, if she confessed to pushing Claire.

Really liked tonight's episode. Darren and Zoe are great together in my opinion and i found their date quite funny especially when Darren's watch fell in his glass of wine! :D

I really don't like Mercedes but i found it funny when Mercedes threw a glass of drink over her and Nicole was gonna get back at her but threw her's over Darren. :D

Calvin/Warren scene was good but i find it hard to believe that Calvin would sacrifice his job just to make sure Warren stays behind bars.

Oh and it's great to see Fletch again after such a long time! He looks really different as well from when i last seen him!

i havent posted in here for soooooooooooooo long lol! though ive been trying to keep up-to-date with hollyoaks. last weeks epis were really good. i was actually surprised when jacqui said she was pregnant, although my sis had already said earlier on in the epi that she thought jacqui could be pregnant. i really hope that someone admits to the fact that mercedes is lying about warren, it needs to come out in the end and i really hope warren doesnt go down for pushing clare. nana mcqueen is great, i thought she would annoy me at first, but i actually quite like her. i like how she knows everything about them all, how she could tell mercedes was lying and how jacqui was pregnant. was she just in it for last week or is she going to be in it again?

i actually felt quite sorry for jacqui in yesterdays epi but im sure her and tony will get back together in the end. and steph attempting to apologise to nancy was funny, that poem was so funny lol! although the whole jake and nancy thing is really starting to annoy me now!

Katy
17-07-2007, 11:13
Steph is brilliant that poem the way she read it especially when she said and now your six foot under, it was excellant at first i thought she was apologising to Nancy then i realised. That Melissa character is really annoying though and i feel really sorry for Hannah! She's feeling really pushed out when Melissa and Sarah are hanging out together and i think she thinks that she isn't good enough to hang around with them as they're models and both have great looks, well this is what i think anyway...and i think this is where her bullumia storyline will pick up again. There is nothing wrong with Hannah though and she's fine the way she is so i'm feeling really sorry for her! :(

Katy
17-07-2007, 14:43

tuesdays epi: alec is being really sweet and i dont like that the nan is being really horrible to him (although to be fair the nan seems to be horrible to everyone apart from mercedes) and even jacqui was being quite nice to him which makes a change. cant believe hannah was going to try and get help and then melissa was going to tell her some tips on how to get better at her eating disorder!

yesterdays epi: i really felt for tony when he admitted to being scared incase he lost this baby like he lost grace. i feel sorry for all of them, tony, jacqui and even alec in a way cos its going to affect him as well. im not sure whether i like this whole jake/nancy thing, it just seems a bit unbelievable to me, although its early days so ill wait a bit til i pass judgement fully!

Katy
20-07-2007, 09:45
I'm not sure onthe whole nancy and Jake thing either but i suppose they both have a lot in common.

craigs annoying me too, sarah and melissa are annoying me as well. the scenes with them are so boring, though im glad that craig and sarah have split up cos that storyline had really started to drag and it seemed like it was the same thing every week, hopefully now itll start to move on. i like how amy is bonding with leah even if she is still annoyed that she has to look after her all the time. the storyline with elliot is really weird

DaVeyWaVey
20-07-2007, 10:15
I think Steph and Elliot are really great on screen together, and i hope there are more scenes with them both together very soon.

Hannah's bullumia storyline is fantastic so far and i think it's building up incredibly well. I liked how Melissa found out, but i can't help but feel that Melissa will just make Hannah feel worse about herself! Melissa is annoying though, i agree and i think her scenes with Sarah are boring.

Craig is annoying me a bit now too - John Paul shouldn't waste his time on him!

Its on good form at the moment, enjoying all the storylines apart from the whole Elliot thing. It annoys me that they always have to have stupid things like this going on in the background. DaVeyWaVey
02-08-2007, 22:47
I think the Elliot storyline is bearable enough - i think it's good enough to be filler stuff going on alongside the big storylines such as John Paul/Craig, Kathy going crazy, Hannah's bullumia etc.
