Exeter The Story So Far!

EXETER IS NEARING ITS 1ST ANNEVERSARY SO I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD GIVE YOU THE READERS ACCOUNTS OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED SINCE DAY ONE SO HERE GOES.

SEASON 1

SEASON 1 WAS ALL ABOUT ONE THING WHO KILLED ROY CRABTREE. AFTER SOME KIDS PLAYING FOOTBALL FOUND HIM DEAD IN THE ALLEYWAY, EVREYONE WAS TALKING BUT SOMEONE WAS ACTING SUSPICIOUS PHIL. BUT WAS PHIL THE MURDERER???

The first season may have only been 6 episodes long but it was some exciting stuff. each episode we got closer and closer to the truth. However Exeter saw the arrival of a new couple James and Phillipa Perry. James had brought the old snooker hall and was turning it into a nightclub. James had live in Exeter Street in the past and many remebred him but not as much as Mike Scotsman, the two had problems and secrets that we have yet to find out about!!! The finale episode was explosive. James opened his new nightclub just in time for his wife Phillipa to arrive. However the question of who killed Roy Crabtree was finally answered it was Malcolm Humphreys it was his wife Jill who found out but she was in danger as Malcolm tied her up and got set to let her die in the shop fire. However his plan was foiled when Phil,Shawn and Mike ran in just in time grabbing Jill but Malcolm set the shop alight anyway causing a huge explosion. The final cliffhanger of the night was Stacey Bowler giving birth to a baby boy but who was the father???

Season 2 saw some old faces leave and new faces join. Season 2 had 3 deaths, 2 new borns and the Street almost getting closed. Season 2 was a great season for me as it began the love affair between the Scotsmans it was a slow burner and when it ended it was explosive.

The season opened with the revelation that Amy had given birth to the newest Scotsman Kristen. While Mike and Lucy were happy, Mike secretley wanted a Grandson. However that was not the only new born as Stacey had given birth to a baby boy. The question was however who was the father? the farther was reveled in the same week to be none other than Mike Scotsman. Stacey really did love Mike but he did not love her or Lucy for that matter. Mike took care of the baby situation by paying Stacey money each week. However Mike was blackmailed by Trudys grandson Daniel who loved Stacey over the baby. But Mike took care of him by beating him up as a warning.

This season saw the arrival of the newest villan Paul Ramsay. Paul had brought the Bookies in the complex and started off fine. But there was something about him and James knew he was up to no good. Paul was working for Dennis Hill to poisen the water for the street which he did. Dennis wanted Exeter Street as it was good land but no one budged.

The first exit was Phil Hilton. Sharon had got involved with another man who was actually a psyco. The man kidnapped Sharon and held her hostage in an abandoned house in The Chase. Phil and Shawn found them but phil accidentley shot Shawn [who was in a comma for 4 weeks] and killed the psyco. Phil was sent to prison for 14 years but he escaped.

This lead to the arrival of the other Scotsman boy Robert, Amy immedietley fell for his charm. The love triangle began. Shawn woke from his comma not knowing anything about Robert or Amy. Just three weeks after Roberts arrival his secret wife Chrissie turned up in the street looking for Robert. Rob tried to get a divorce but Chrissie would not budge. The love traingle still continued until Chrissie [who was pregnent with Robs baby] discovred Amy and Robert in bed. Chrissie immedietley got an abortion and told Shawn who left Exeter Street with his daughter. Robert flipped and punched Chrissie, he was sent to prison for 7 months.

There was more Scotsman trouble as Mike kicked Lucy out of the pub and asked for a divorce. However Mike borrowed money off the dodgy Dennis Hill. Mike realised he could not pay it back and sold the pub back to Lucy. Mike got set to leave the country, but as he walked by the canal Dennis caught up with him and shot him dead!!!

The season continued mainly following Paul Ramsay. Paul had, had enough of Dennis and wanted out on destroying exeter street. Paul fell in love with Sharon and they got together. However Dennis was looking for revenge and set the bookies on fire not realising Sharon was asleep up stairs. Paul returned just in time and ran into the burning Bookies to save Sharon but the stairs collapsed onto him and Paul was in a wheelchair for 4 months.

The street was getting ready to celebrate 100 years of exeter street. Paul orginised a Plane ride. On the plane where Alan,Trudy,Viv,Chrissie,James,Phillipa,Bob,Silvia and Lucy.
However a bomb had been planted on the plane and caused the plane to crash Bob and silvia were trapped inside and as James attempted to save them the Plane exploded killing off two of exeters favourite charecters.
