Kissing in Eastenders

This was been dicussed in the current episode discussion about young people only seem to be the ones who kiss in eastender

We never seen Pauline/joe dot/jim kissing on screen more than a peck on the cheek. Why is this?

Does eastender only want to attract a younger audience by bringing in the un-talented lookers and letting them do all the flirting and fun.
Oh and we never got to see kissing with Pat/Patrick to lead up to the bedroom scene.

What does everyone think both young and old

How odd that this was brought up earlier ,, I was looking out our front window and being in Holland people use bikes alot,, An old couple in their 70s went by and they were holding hands on a bike ?? Now thats what I call sweet..I would be very very very depressed if my partner stopped snogging my face off after i hit 60..The younger members might be put off only cos they think they corner the kissin market, well hello kiddies, you do not :D

maybe I am just mad but I think it is lovely when older people kiss. I love to see that even after all these years they can make each other happy. How many thought the fixadent ad with the couple kissing in the car was revolting? I thought it was lovely

Awwwwwww I would have thought it lovely too even tho I have not seen the advertisement, In the states they do different adverts for poligrip, efferdent and some other things that associate with other couples, they kiss and they hug and I find it darn sweet !!!:wub:

i see your point Siobhan. i dont know why this is either maybe its because eastenders writers think people with think its wrong and not watch the show anymore, which is sill i mean cant all ages still have a bit of fun in them!!!! gawd makes you not wanna grow up :p

Steff I think if any one is in a loving relationship, they will kiss and hold hands in public, its quite commonplace here in Holland to see very old people still holding hands,:love: I am talking about people older than Pat and Patrick..So don't worry Steff growing up is a great adventure :D

If people can not handle watching an older couple kiss , then they have a problem..

i think its sweet when you see older people still holding hands as they walk along and think eastenders should show some of the older people kissing not just young people but maybe older actors arn't as keen as younger people to play tonsil tennis on screen

Oh my god, I seen a kiss with the over 50's yesterday. Patrick and Yolande lips meet for all of 5 secs and pulled away just as quick as if they would catch a decease

I dont have a problem with older people kissing. But Pat and Patrick is just plain wrong and disgusting! :sick: (And it aint because they are old)

I think Dot and Jim or Pauline and Joe its sweet for them to kiss or what ever. But Pat and Patrick is just not! They dont actually love each other that is simple for anyone to see. Patrick is having an affair, also wrong. Pat will just kiss anyone who's offering it about! I find it so cringy watching the pair of them and they aint being discrete about it either! What also makes it worse is that the past Pat has... its not as though she's only ever had one husband if you get what i mean! She was with Frank a couple of months ago npow you wouldnt see Dot doing what she does on a regular basis!

I thought the older generation were supposed to set a good example! Pat and Patrick certainly arent!!!
