Best Picture::
Brokeback Mountain,Capote,Crash,Good Night and Good Luck,Munich

Best Actor:
Philip Seymour Hoffman, Capote
Terrence Howard, Hustle & Flow
Heath Ledger, Brokeback Mountain
Joaquin Phoenix, Walk the Line
David Strathairn, Good Night, and Good Luck

Mind you I would love to see Hoffman walk away with it as well, a truly gifted actor who rarely recieves the plaudits he deserves, but I have got my fingers crossed for Joaquin.

Best Actress:
Judi Dench, Mrs. Henderson Presents
Felicity Huffman, Transamerica
Keira Knightley, Pride and Prejudice
Charlize Theron, North Country
Reese Witherspoon, Walk the Line
Most deserving I think would be Witherspoon, Theron won one for Monster and sorry but she is vastly over-rated so hope she doesnt get it, so heres
to Reese.

Best Supporting Actor:
George Clooney, Syriana
Matt Dillon, Crash
Paul Giamatti, Cinderella Man
Jake Gyllenhaal, Brokeback Mountain
William Hurt, A History of Violence,

I hope Dillon walks away with it, truly amazing in Crash, but Giamatti deserved to be nominated last year for Sideways so I think he will win it but I want Dillon to win.

Best Supporting Actress:
Amy Adams, Junebug
Catherine Keener, Capote
Frances McDormand, North Country
Rachel Weisz, The Constant Gardener
Michelle Williams, Brokeback Mountain

I hope Rachel wins because she's a truly talented actress and proud of her British roots.

Best Director:
George Clooney, Good Night, and Good Luck
Paul Haggis. Crash
Ang Lee, Brokeback Mountain
Bennet Miller, Capote
Steven Spielberg, Munich
I thought Crash was a splendid film but I would really like to see Spielberg walk away with the Oscar simply because Munich was stunning and so emotionally heartbreaking and Spielberg made a modern day masterpiece.

Best Original Screenplay:
Crash, Good Night, and Good Luck, Match Point, The Squid and the Whale
Syriana

Please dont give it to Match Point, Crash had a superb screenplay

Best Adapted Screenplay:
Brokeback Mountain,Capote, The Constant Gardener, A History of Violence
Munich

Well just because it was beatifully done and the film did the screenplay justice. (must see A History of Violence when out on dvd)

Best Animated Feature:
Howl's Moving Castle
Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

I didn't like it but it was clever and it's British.
