Hiya, I have some questions that I need kind people to answer for me. They're mainly about DS Sam Nixon.
1. In the episodes including Peter Cavanaugh, how was Sam actually exposed as a police officer when she was undercover as a waitress?
2. Did Peter Cavanaugh actually love Sam?
3. When Sam and Phil were trapped in the tunnel is it true that Phil said: Can I have a kiss? Sam and Phil moved in to actually kiss then at the last moment Sam replied with: I'll save your life, but I won't kiss you.
4. Did Hugh Wallis kidnap Abi to take revenge on Sam? If so, is it true that he loved her and was annoyed that she had rejected him umpteen years ago?
5. Another one I've heard is that Hugh loved Sam and wanted to be there for her and be a shoulder to cry on, but then he was jealous of Phil's relationship with her so he just wanted Sam to suffer.
6. Has Phil and Sam ever kissed? I think they were close a few times but never actually have.
7. Was Alan Kennedy a little obssesed with Sam and that's why he would only talk to her and said stuff like: "It's only over when I say it's over!"
8. Has Neil Mason slapped Sam, or has another character ever slapped Sam as I've read something somewhere about a slap?
If I have any other questions then I'll reply to this with them. Thanks for your help. It doesn't matter if you only know a few answers, I just need to know.

1. they thought it was someone else so she told them herself so the other person wouldnt get hurt
2. i think he might have done (but i could be wrong)
3. i dont know whether she thought about kissing him she lent down and whispered in his ear I'll save your life, but I won't kiss you.
4. hugh took abi as he wanted sam to need him
5. and yes hugh did love sam
6. yes they did kiss
7. i think it was just because sam knew how to talk to him and get him to open up
8. i dont think neil slapped her but i know abi has

i think Sam slapped the undercover journalist (andrea) when she jeopadized a case in court that Sam had worked hard on. As far as i know no one has actually slapped her.
Alan Kennedy was obsessed with Women in general, and then with Sam (once she expressed an interest in him) so she used it to her advantage and dressed up in a mini skirt and heels in order to get him to confess to serial murders he had committed.
Sam and Phil have kissed before but Sam pushed Phil away when she said there is a part to Phil that she really likes but it is hidden.
i think Hugh used to be Sams uni lecturer when she did her criminal profiling course and he fncied her then but she was just friendly and it can be said that ahe perhaps just used him to help her pass the course, alternativly perhaps she was just unaware he liked her as she was so wrapped up in her own success. i think she knew he liked her but she didnt want anything to happen between them and Hugh couldnt handle this.
when hugh arrived at sunhill years later he still loved Sam and thought there was another chance but when he realised that there was no chance of a relationship he turned nasty!
What episode number was it that Phil and Sam actually kissed?

How much older is Hugh comapered to Sam, a bit pervy of him fancying her at uni init if he's quite a few years older.

im not sure bet i know she did her cri9minology and phsycology degree through open university so im presuming hse was a mature student. Also i think that perhaps Hugh might have been her lecturer when she attended the Met profiling course with David chux and if thats the case then she wouldnt have been that much younger then him. i think there is about a 10year age gap as Sam is 42 and i recon judging from Hughs lack of hair and his face i would say he was early 50's.

Well now that he's not with Cindy, but Stuart s'pose to come into it. You could tell that they both have feelings for eachother but won't admit it especially last wednesday. I was hoping but also dreading Sam being on the phone to Phil. Mainly because Cindy couldv'e blamed work for there troubles and think Phil loves someone there instead of her. Hmmm, I could be getting an idea for another fanfic.

yeah it was the first episode to see them together for ages, just wish there was more of it
yeah, I wish they were in it more together too. Most of the episodes recently have been set at night. It's alright but a bit too much in the dark. And the office has changed. But last wednesdays episode really had me hooked, the week before dare I say it, I couldn't get into it. I kept wanting to go off and do something else but last wednesday I really enjoyed. Maybe because both Sam and Phil were both in it. Sam hadn't been in it for a couple of weeks I think.

it is about 5-6 weeks since she has been in it apart from last wednesdays! maybe she will have lots of story lines with Phil when this new stuart turner comes into it!! that will take the focus off terri and remani who have been in it lots recently
Yeah, hopefully. It's been confirmed by Thuisitha (sorry if spellings wrong) IS leaving.
I think when Stuart comes there'll be a jealous streak from Phil. I don't know if you can but I can imagine him being protective of her and trying to tell Stuart to leave her be. But it'd probably be just so that Phil can get in there before Stuart does.

yes and p-lus the fact that phil has ended his marriage to cindy means things could finally take off with sam and phil as sam could realise he has finally grown up and would be faithful to her! it could be fate! however in true bill style just as it seems the pair could get close stuart is going to come along and change all this just like Kate came along before! its been such a slow burner sam and phils relationship so i wonder if they will ever be together?
