My favourite ride is Pinball wizard it's brilliant! But i might nother ride when i go again in june:p

i really liked ripsaw it wasnt that scary but really excited. I went for my birthday last year.

My favourite ride was Hex, but i really wasn't expecting what happens to happen when i went there though. If you go, then go in there, and you might get a surprise too.

I'm not a fan of rollercoasters though, so alton Towers wasn't my favourite theme park i've ever been to.

I really liked rita queen of speed, we waited for an hour but it was sooooooooo worth it. I liked oblivion too

I've never been but people say Oblivion was good. Everyone was saying that the lines were ages, some people had to queue for an hour.

wow an hours pretty fast, when you think about some rides at some places you can wait for 2 or more hours

Really, in Flamingo Land the lines were really long but surprisingly went fast.

hex is a brilliant ride the corkscrew think it's called that is good as well but i didn't go on many fast rides as the queues were too long

I like Oblivion, Rita, Nemesis and Air best lol, ohh and theres a new Charlie and the Chocolate factory ride which I can't wait for! lol alton towers is great, it's only about 45 minutes away from me so its easy for me to go

nemesis oblivious and air are my favourites, for me its about a 1 and a half-2 hours drive worth it thoough.

Alton Towers was ace on Friday! Had a great time. I've also seen a video of the new ride Charlie and the chocolate factory, it isn't quite as good as I was expecting. Anyone been on it yet?

I always find it impossible to go on everything in one day and I go quite a few times each season :P lol. Good choice of rides by the way :P, advice - don't go on corkscrew if youve got your ears pierced, my mate got hers ripped out on that. and rita is great by the way :P

All the rides are wicked, but i do think it very dear to get in for the day, and you spend ages q ing for rides

If you book your tickets online on the offical Alton Towers website you can get tickets cheaper, and if you don't like the ques buy the shortcut passes or if theres only a few of you go on the single riders que because most of the time you don't even get split up from your friends, especially oblivion :P

I just happen to be going on monday, though im starting to wonder why i said yes *thinks she must have been on some kind of drugs when she agreed* i hate rides, not that ive been on many scary ones (only one at Southend called scorpion) but seriously Alton Towers looks way scarier than Southend i will probably be watching my mates go on them half the time, but ill try stuff if i can im sure they will find a way to talk me in to it :rolleyes:

Is ita wise place to go though if your not fond of heights and rides that are high and stuff?? im beginning to think not ive been looking at videos and pictures which i do not like the look of in the slightest.

You can do river rapids no problem, i love that ride so much :D that and flume :D

when i was younger i used to go to alton towers and go on everything there but when i hit my thirties i lost my bottle and cant go on the fast rides anymore! there is still plenty there if you dont like big rides though, including, like vicky said, the rapids and log flume.

I dont like big rides - infact im terrified of them to be honest but im going to go there are face them despite the fact im scared of them :cheer: any idea what someone terrified of rides might be able to try?

its a long time since ive been but it is such a big theme park there are tons of rides and a real mixture of them so there will defo be stuff you can go on.

Layney they did air 4 times yesterday though toni only did it 3 cos she didnt really want to go on it again but apparently we had no choice.

Id carry on telling you stuff hun but id rather write it all up first or else i have nothing to tell you later - though em and toni have probably beaten me to it :lol:

Anyway yeah im so pleased i went and more importantly so pleased i did rita :cheer: oh and tan for the record it was the most terrifying thing ever

Yeah heights is my problem to, dont even get me started on how scary oblivion looks - i tend to avoid that aswell as nemesis and air - though one day im determined i will do air - just not yet

I was in alton tower's yesterday. Was a brilliant Day:D Went On Air,Oblivion,Rita:D,Spinball Whizzer,Hex and River rapids, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. Well unless you have been living on planet mars for the last few months, you will know I have a family wedding coming up on the 11 August. It's in a castle outside Edinburgh Borthwick Castle. Anyway my nephew is the groom. On Friday I was at my sisters and she told me that the bride and groom are holding a joint stag and hen party and they are taking everyone to Alton Towers on 3 August and everyone is allowed to take a guest. I told my sister that I would not be going as rollercosters aint my thing I have no desire to be hung upside down or whizzed around until i'm sick, also I will have no one to watch Marley as everyone will be at Alton Towers. She told me to speak to the bride and groom about taking Marley as my partner, but the bus is going to be full of adults drinking and carrying on I don't want to spoil anyone enjoyment, but I don't want Marley missing out on the fun either.

I think she would have a blast too Gem but for what I am told it's all adult's going mainly in there 20's and they're going there to get drunk and have a laugh,which I can't blame them. If it was me and someone wanted to bring a kid along I would probably be miffed but I won't know until I speak to the bride and groom to see if they are fine with me taking her if not then I aint going.

I cant say much about Marley enjoying it - she would probably enjoy the park not sure about the drinking side though but i can most certainly say that if you wanted to go it has other things that dont hang you upside down and dont spin aswell which im sure you could go on and im sure both you and Marley would enjoy them.
