I have a cashflow problem and i was thinking about getting a job. But i'm not sure what jobs i can do at my age, apart from a paper round which i dont really want to do If you know any please tell me.
I'm 14 and i will be 15 on april the 7th.

nah unfortunatly legally they cant employ you without an NI number

some local shops might employ you - like a newsagents or chip shop

you dont get your national insurance number until you are nearly 16, because i got mine about a month ago and im 16 in march.

yep abi, you can work as soon as you have your ni number. i got mine a few months before i was 16 as well, maybe its different in scotland?

Some people that I know work in an Amusments/Arcade, they spin the waltzers and things. You could maybe get employed for that. My sister's birthday is on April 7th too.

you have to legally be 18 for that cause it is classed as gambling

lol! yep you could get a job. i feel the same, i should really get a job but its so much hard work!

you have to be careful as some places dont cover under 16 year olds in their insurance and so wont take you on!! so be on the look out!! :hmm:

i think you can be a waitress in some places, but apart from a paper round i don't know what else you could do

I did a mailshot delivery last summer. Basically, i was the annoying person that put sjunk mail through your door :D Thats a lot better than paper rounds, because its a lot lighter, and not so embaressing. Get paid better as well. You can do that at any age. I did it for a local Londis store, so if your interested, then i'd go see them if i were you.

i'm only 13 nearly 14 and i work at a cattery and get paid £2.50 an hour but its not a regular thing you get put on a rota and they call you when they need someone so you may be able to get a job at a cattery or kennel

Have you thought about doing odd jobs for neigbours? especially if you hae oldish ones. It may not be ideal but at least its money!

If you wanna earn some dosh, then thats the best way i think. You have to spend time folding them all up though, unless you try and get away with putting them through as a whole sheet....

Everything is so expensive nowadays, I can't afford to buy good make up. Oil free foundation costs like 7 pound.
