i am worried about my friend he has just split up with his girlfriend who is also a mate, he has become very secluded and dosen't talk to people, i am worried he might do something to him self ?

i was like that when i split from last ex but couple of weeks later i was starting to feel better! took bit of time but i finaly got over her! just keep eye on him

be there for him when he needs you. my mate split up with her man after 13 years together and most of the time she was ok but sometimes i wouldnt hear from her for weeks and i just knew that it was because she was having a bad week and wanted to be left alone
Yea I was the same when I split from my ex after 6 years, sometimes you just dont want to talk about it, just be there if they need to talk.

Just let him know that you are there for him and you are getting a little worried - he will talk when he feels ready

thanks all for your help, he seems to be talkin a bit more since i told he a was a little worried about him x x x so thanks for the advice !!
although i dont know how he will react when he finds out she is bringing a date to our mates party, how can a tell him ????

perhaps broach the subject with him without actually telling him straight away. Like: ask him how he would feel if she had a partner, if he appears to not be able to cope with it so soon, couldn't you sensitively ask his ex to maybe consider not bringing her new partner to the party so soon as it would her your friend, she may be reasonable about it.
Ask him how he feels and let him know that you are here if he has any worries
