I'm going for work experience in a school soon and I've got no idea what to wear! Please help!
Dont go over the top, just get a few pairs of black trosers, with different cuts, and maybe a few pin strips, then some shirts. I wouldn't bother with a proper fitting jacket, as you'll look too formal. After all, you've just got to look smart, not formal

I used to be a school teacher. I think black trousers and a casual shirt or smart jumper will do fine. You don't need to go too over the top, as you will want to be comfortable. A long skirt would also be fine. I think you would be best to stick to black trousers and a plain jumper/shirt for the first day, and then see what everyone else is wearing, and take it from there.
i did my work experiance in a primary school. many years ago!!!
the main thing i can say is be comfy and smart

i did my work experience at a primary school. i was told not to wear jeans or other denim stuff, such as denim skirts and denim jackets, and that shoes with a big or thin heel werent suitable either. like other people have said, just wear a smart pair of black trousers and a shirt, or just some smart trousers and a smart top. also, if you will be helping the same class the whole week, ask what day they do pe on cos i was allowed to wear a tracksuit in on that day

Also, if you are with little ones, wear something you don't mind getting paint splatted on!!!!!!! When I was teaching, I always made sure I was wearing something oldish on art day!!!!!!!

I think you could get away with smart jeans with some black boots, but I think it's probably best to stick with some smart trousers and plain top to start with.

Just wear anything clo! Be yourself!
I suggest some comfy, smart clothes. Also, I would suggest flat shoes for chasing kids with and you'll probably be walking about a lot. Also, some clothes that can be easily washed. No one wants acrillic paint splattered all over suede boots!

flat shoes and comfortable clothing.
No pointy high heels, because it you stand on a child, you might impale them on one of your heels!!! lol Seriously, have seen the result of an accident with a teaching assistant in high heels and a small child! Not pleasant!!!
Yeah, work experience is usually in May of each year. It could be helpful for future reference of another member though.
