Shayne faces surgery to save voice?

Factor winner Shayne Ward is to undergo surgery to save his voice.

Doctors have apparently discovered growths on the singer's voice box which could put his singing career at risk.

Shayne has been told that the operation may have to take place in the next few weeks, delaying the launch of his debut album until June.

"It's serious," his manager Louis Walsh told The People. "We're waiting to hear what the specialists say."
