Does anyone know why guys over react whenever they get slighly ill. And make such a massve deal about it?

Oh, God, thats so true. They get a cold, and they react like they're about to die. We get a cold, and they tell us to stop moaning about it! The cheek of it!

yeh my brother has a cold at the moment and my dad keeps shouting at me for saying anything as hes soo ill. Its like hes only got a cold that it!! They are wimps

I hate it when men have colds, I'm the one that ends up buying a deluxe pack of Lucozade and Lemsips. lol

theres a normal cold then theres the "man cold" which we call it, usually they have a normal cold but they act like theyre dying, usually they will call it flu, even when its a cold!! lol!! :rotfl:
actually my husband is not like that at all but i know plenty of men who are!!

My husband injured himself playing football today, and anyone would think he was seriously ill. He's limping round the house like a big baby, and moaning about the "pain" It serves him right though, as he's 20 years older than the average age of the rest of his team, and i keep telling him he's too old to go out there. I think he thinks it makes him look yung though. Sad.

Mind you, he'll be malingering for weeks, moaning about his man flu, and when I suggest going to the doctors, he pulls a face. He's only been twice since we got married in 1995.

I have to agree with you all, last night I was working, and I have a cold and blocked sinuses at the moment, you bend down and you have to hold your head first. you can imagine it working in a night club,with the smoke machines going full blast, I got a call on the radio,could I cover the other part of the club as poor Barry has the start of a cold and needs to go home, What a wimp !!!

that is so typical isnt it. we have a man at work who goes off sick with the slightest cold and takes to his bed, we are all still working on with our colds!!!

we end up working with flu even. Most the time we dont take time off unless we really have to. or get told to go home
