Lola’s daughter, Cleo, has left university and wants to go travelling.
Lola almost convinces her to change her mind, but her stifling
actions only push Cleo further away.
Meanwhile, Connie advises Sam he must tow the line. However,
Sam ignores the warnings and puts a patient’s health in jeopardy.
Elsewhere, Diane and Jac are both feeling confident about their
interviews for the consultant post, but Jac is still resentful towards
Diane, feeling she is favoured by Ric. However, Jac and Diane later
bond over their treatment of a patient, and Ric takes them both
out for a drink to let them know who has the consultant position.
But before they reach the bar, Nick Jordan introduces himself…
