Episode Complaint!

I Have A Complaint About Each Episode.

1. In Tv Listings It Clearly States That Er Begins At 10pm + Finishes At 11.05pm, But It Sometimes Starts At About 5 Past 10 Which Means It Should Finish At Roughly 10 Past 11, But It Doesn't, It Ends At 10.55pm, So We Are Not Getting A Full Hour Are We?

2. Why Is It When It Is Only Been On For Five Minutes There Is A Break, A Break Should Be About 10 Or 15 Mins In To It, Don't U Agree?

3. Why Does It Have Some Stupid And Weird Endings?

i lot of programmes are guilty of this not just ER it's because of the adverts you only get about 40 mins of a programme. It can be really annoying as they always have a break at a really exciting programm

I would like to jump in on this ... I am an American living in Europe,.and the TV programs in the states are full of advertisements/or commerical breaks and can occur every 8 min or so .. so that may be why the program appears to be shorter... I never realized how annoying those commerical breaks were until I was in the states last year ..

Its like a programme that is on for an hour (when the ads are taken out) is actually on for 40 mins!!

The endings are generally for continuations sake and sometimes they backtrack through the day, so at the start of the episode you get a glimpse of what has happened then they screen the episode as if the event hasnt happened yet so you are left wondering whats going on, like an episode yesterday lunchtime from season 10 i think, where kovac and a med student were involved in an accident and the whole episode was made up of flashbacks throughout the day
