'Former Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson, who played Katy Harris, has left the cobbled streets of Weatherfield behind for lions and snakes in the African bush! She stars as fiesty teenager Rosie Trevanion in the new six-part ITV1 drama "Wild At Heart." The series, which has just begun filming, follows Rosie, her vet dad (Stephen Tompkinson), stepmum (Amanda Holden) and family as they start a new life in Africa. But while dad Danny feels right at home, the others aren't so sure!'

I really enjoy it- lucy is so good at being cross in things - i was so sad for that monkey
there was something about this programme that didnt work i dont know what but i couldnt get my head into it. I never got the feel of Africa if you know what i mean. The script was also quite predictable. I think alot of it is that i find Stephen Tompinson(sp) quite irritable. I might give it another go next week to see if it gets any better.

i really enjoy sunday one... it was so sad when the little girl got bite
you see i just laughed because it was so predictable, but i dont want to miss it as its good rubbish. if you know what i mean. I think the young boy is dreadful, and i dont like the parents either. Lucy Jo Hudson and the little girl are ok though. The clip looks like next week will bne exciting.

Damn i missed the last one of the series because i was watching my friends DVD :( is it repeated?
Angeltigger
06-03-2006, 08:59
don't know it might be repeated on ITV2
I for one am glad to see the back of this pitiful programme. Lucy Jo Hudson just played the same character in it as she had done in Corrie. It was cringeworthy. Amanda Holden was ............ wel Amanda Holden. Its only saving graces were the beautiful scenery of the Veldt and the fantastic African Music. Lets hope they dont commision another series
Was it just me or was the format the same every week. Some gets sick and looks like they could die but then are saved. Doesn't make me want to live in africa
Angeltigger

Yeah that what happened Siobhan- someone got sick and was better again than! I don't want to either live in africa
I really liked it myself and wish it hadnt already finished

Well I have to admit I watched every episode. They were all the same someone gets sick, wondervet cures them, animal gets sick wondervet cures them. Lucy Jo Hudson huffs about throwing tantrums. Nah its not for me

I thought the program was okay most of the episodes were repetative and they do need to come up with different ideas rather than people just getting sick especially if they are doing another series but i did quite like as i liked watching the animals. hopefully the next series will have different ideas and be less repetative

I watched it, i like watching stuff like that on a sunday night, it just relaxes me like when Where The Heart is was on, is just nice viewing to get you ready for the week ahead.
I loved where the heart is but this was just so i cant even explain. I think ill stick to Dream Team instead. I flicked last sunday and it was exactly the same as last series. I also want to know how Stephen Tomkinson has made a career at acting. I just dont find him believable at all, maybe its because hes always acting the dumbo.

I've seen the old parent trap but can't remember what she was like in it, my mum said her voice sounds the same still. I think she's a great addition to the drama, as everyone loves her to butt in everyone elses business.
She is a greta adduition she adds more humour to the show

What did we think of Sarah's exit? I thought it was good, bit sad aswell but also a bit rushed like the emotions from Evan and Olivia changed from angry/upset to them accepting it and being strong in the space of no more than half hour
I thought it was really sad :( I just think it was a range of emotions that thye went through. But yeah some where rushed

i thought it was very sad but yes i agree they had all seemingly accepted it by the end of the episode! some good storylines to follow up in the next series too.
Ooo it will be good next sereis I hope, I think thats why they have brought Jessie Wallace in it

It was sad, but good. Glad we didn't get a death bed scene. Upsets me when they drag things out like that. Sometimes I can't bear to watch! I was glad there was some optimism towards the end.
