Sean Bean has revealed that he wouldn't mind starring in Coronation Street as the milkman.

The actor said in an interview with The Daily Express that Coronation Street was one of the few TV show that he watches: "I don't get to watch much TV but I do like Coronation Street."

When the Lord of the Rings actor was asked who he would like to play he said: "Oh, I don't know...the milkman?"

A Corrie spokesperson said: "That is fantastic. Sean is a good, solid Northern actor and would be brilliant.

"Sean is a fantastic actor but also a busy and prolific actor. If we found a suitable character for him and he could do it, then who knows?"

oh my god that would be great, I absolutely love Sean Bean, to see him deliver milk would be beyond words.

Besides been the sexist man alive :wub: :wub: , Sean Bean is an actor from Sheffield who has stared in Lady chatterly lover, sharpe and is most recognised for his role in Golden Eye.. he was the 00 agent who turned bad and had a fight with James bond at the end.. he was also the pilot in the move Flight Plan
