they said they well do reading or sums or something and the nest day they have to do it all from the start cos he forgot what to do
I think my friend may have dyslexia but it doesn't seem as bad as that. She has trouble remembering NC things she has been taught at school, her understanding of written things and writing. I would say it's mainly due to memory though.

with me i know what i want to do like write a certain word or number but ill miss-spell it completly or write the complete wrong thing and its very fustrating because people think im stupid when im not.
it could be any number of things. some children are just slow learners. My mum in the senco at her school, and she says there are loads of different things children get i dont know enough detail.

he gets really down about it when he is at school and is in 2 classes his own 1 year 1 and one wirh recption kids who have just started there and the school are on bout some out reach thing where someone comes in to the school so he can get some more help but even counting up two 10 he has trouble with and what they look like he has not long learnt how to write his own name
my mum had someone in her class who couldnt write there own name, but it was just because she was quite slow. I think any amount of work that you can help with at home is good. By saying he is two classes do you mean like he spends mornings in reception and afternoons in year 1 or are they joint due to numbers.

he goes in two recption to get more help every day but he goes back in two his own class arfter which is year 1
i htink that is a stupid idea on behalf of the school. If he is on his own then its not going to help matters as i think he ll realiise he is being treated differently. I dont really know much more as i only know what mum has said, so i dont know about being a parent. Wish i could help a bitm more
