Yeah, quite possibly, but I read on Holby.tv that he only wanted to do 3 years, so I dont think he'll be returning anytime soon.

Oh, just when I was getting to like the character - especially when he sorts his hair out into a proper style. Still hopefully he will go onto other tv dramas, a soap or maybe a film. I just hope he doesn't end up leaving Casualty in a coffin like poor Woody or the doctor who fell off a ladder while trying to save Rosie's life in the Casualty@HolbyCity Christmas episode last year (Maxwell Caulfield played him).

Seems to me that every time some one in any soap becomes really good, then they bail out either, in a train crash, burning building or they get stabbed and shot. Usually that means they DO NOT have any intention returning to the program,could be that they were offered a better deal else where. Back in the 1950's there was an actor named George Reeves, he committed sucide cos he was sterotyped and could not find any other work, his role ? Superman . People could not see him beyond that role. Many stars who stay in the same role become reconized as the person they play in a program, and they can not see the actor/actress as any thing else but that role. So they want to get out while they can and branch out to more deverse roles..Just my 2 cents worth on why some of these well known stars leave :searchme: I did like Luke too and Jim ( Maxwell Caufield) but i guess it was their time to MOVE ON to greener pastures:hmm:

Na, you can keep Woody gone, hadn't warmed to him very much, but Bruno, i may have a party to celebrate his departure, i wish he would take Nathan with him, i really don't like the slime ball.

Glad Bruno is leaving :) I heard about this a while back though. I wasn't surprised that Luke was leaving to be honest. Do you notice that every character usually stays in the show for 2 or 3 series then leave the show?! or it might just be me

sometimes they leave because they dont want to be typecast as a certain character, but after they have left we often dont see them in anything else or maybe a bit part in the bill!

I just seen on the casualty website that Luke leaves to embark on a new career to teach football in Africa. Sorry if this has already been mentioned. :)
