The budding director had risen and dressed in full uniform - complete with bowler hat, cufflinks, briefcase and umbrella - before 7am.
As he waited patiently for his workers to turn in, Preston spent several hours chatting with serial early riser Michael on a range of subjects, including Preston's engagement.
He also had a brief encounter with Pete, who showed no signs of letting up with his hounding from yesterday.
"It's a task, it's a game," Pete told Preston, but added: "If there is a lie, [Chantelle] is a ruthless liar. You were drunk when you emerged, I don't believe you were in the diary room, I don't believe Chantelle put those stockings on in the diary room... I'm just very interested in watching people's body language and their eyes and how they change."
