Saturday, January 21 2006, 09:19 GMT -- Soapstar Superstar contestants Richard Fleeshman and Roxanne Pallett have been spotted enjoying a night on the town together.

The pair, who grew close on the set of the singing contest, attended the opening of a bar in Manchester, however Fleeshman has denied rumours that they are dating.

“She’s a good friend - but I’ve made good friends with everyone on the show," Richard told The Sun.

Fleeshman plays Craig Harris on Coronation Street, while Roxanne Pallett is best known for her role as Jo Stiles in Emmerdale
