i read somewhere that marissa's sister is coming back as a teen and shes a night mare anybody got any idea when that is and exactly how bad is she meant to be :cheer:

Marrissa's sister, Kaitlin is coming back halfway through season 3 but she has completely changed and is supposed to be about 15yrs old but she looks more mature and she is really pretty n looks like Marissa. She is supposed 2 be a bad girl and is going 2 create trouble in Marissa's life. :cheer:

oh yeah, another thing i forgot to ask, do u think that they're kinda of making caitlin into the next marissa so that the oc can carry on? they cant exactly do another series about the current "crew" as they r all going off to college!

but i thought it was only summer and seth going away to college i thought marissa and ryan were studying in newport?

If theres a 4th series then they will make it so all the main characters are all still in it - they wont change the format of the show as its mainly about seth, summer, ryan, marrisa and their moms and dads. Kaitlyns only in a couple more episodes.

I dont know how they will keep them all in, its not been renewed yet so we dont know for sure it will be back anyway.

I woudl think that they all go to college very near each other!

to be honest they might either get refused from their chosen colleges or with a lot of thought they might all decide to go to colleges in the same area, which would allow another series and it might even leave room for caitlain,

when is caitlain joining the oc

There were rumours a while ago of Caitlen having her own show, based at her boarding school, so I can't see her being the central focus of the OC.
The directors have said the OC will be carrying on, but by the end of the next series, things will have changed. There are still at lot of characters to return, trey, anna, olivia, theresa.......

There hasnt been an Olivia - maybe bevanuk meant Oliver? Though I cant imagine he will be back and definately not this season.

The OC isnt defintely back next season, the producers hope it will be though. We wont find out for definate until the "up fronts" in May, where American networks announce the fall schedule
